Create 2D Game with GameMaker-

Course Description This is a Hands-on course designed for students interested in learning

the basic elements of creating a 2D Game using GameMaker Studio (developed by YOYO)

In this class students will learn to create 2D Game by adding: Sprites Background images Sounds and music Objects Text Pictures Animation Rooms Score

This is an excellent introductory course to learn to develop animation and game programming using GameMaker Studio

Prerequisite: Computer Basic or equivalent

BenefitsUpon successful completion of the course:

1. Students will have Hand-on experience in developing 2D games using GameMaker Studio (developed by YOYO).

2. Students will be able to move around this software easily.

3. Students will learn to add Sprites, background music and animation in the program.

4. Students will learn how to design, implement, test and debug the program/game.

5. Students will have basic understanding of the object oriented concept.

6. Since this is a free software, students will be able to use this software at home and develop other games, left to the extend of their imagination, even after the course ends.
