ODPSSA Swimming
Congratulations to Jack Thompson and Harmonie Nash who competed at the Orange District PSSA Swimming Carnival held in Orange on Wednesday. Jack swam in a number of events including the OSSA White Junior Boys Relay team who placed 3rd. Harmonie swam for the OSSA White Senior Girls Relay team and placed 5th. Well done and thank you for representing Manildra Public School and OSSA White.
Combined Athletics Carnival
Our Annual Combined Athletics Carnival with St Joseph’s Primary will be held at Jack Huxley Oval (Rec) Manildra on Wednesday 11th March 2020. Permission notes were sent home today. Please return them no later than Wednesday 4th March 2020. All students will be expected to compete in all events.
Parent helpers will be needed on the day for time keeping and assisting with the field events. These carnivals are only successful with helpers. Please indicate on the note if you are available to help.

After School Care Service
Enrolment forms are available from the office and
contain all of the information you need about the
service. A definite start date will be announced very
soon.
Fees are $30 per day for casual enrolments and $28 per day for
permanent days. It will operate from 3pm to 6pm Monday to Friday.
HELP NEEDED—NEW CANTEEN COORDINATOR
Can you spare 1 hour every second Monday morning to collate canteen orders?
Please contact the office ASAP if you are interested in this role. We also need parent
helpers for the roster to prepare lunch orders for the students.

Mappen Experiments in 5/6
This term we have been focusing on our Mappen experiments. Making a wind vein, barometers and rain gauges. We have also been checking the weather all around Australia, looking at wind speed, direction and temperature, also looking at rainfall.
