Summary of the previous workshop: Density

Page 3: 285 a cons 02 workshop 02 landscape & open spaces

The existing estate is low density and has been identified for regeneration, which will look to increase density on the Fenwick Estate

There is no funding to improve existing buildings on the estate

There will be demolition of existing buildings on the estate, exactly which buildings and when is not yet known

The majority of new buildings will be social rented homes and for existing residents, with some private rented homes

New buildings will provide dwellings which will be bigger, warmer and quieter than existing dwellings
