BRIEF ON SHIVRATRI FAIR

.The historic town of Mandi 800m is built along the banks of the river Bias. It is district Headquarters.

Mandi is renowned for its 81 old stone temples & their enormous range of fine carving, it is often

called choti Kashi. The temples of Bhutnath, Triloknath, Panchvaktra & Shyamkali are among the

famous ones. The week long International Shivratri fair in Mandi is the major attraction with approx.

Ten to Fifteen thousand footfall daily from all area of Himachal Pardesh. The observance of the fair is

marked on the Shivratri day when the village gods are carried in palanquins to Mandi to pay homage

to Madho Rai.

•Presence of peoples in the fair was very good, also we got more than hundred enquiries

about Tata Shaktee sheets.

• Our dealers Naina Industries (Nerchowk) , Navjyoti Hardware (Talyahar) were delighted

to received such a good response from the fair. They were hopeful to received more

enquiries for Tata Shaktee sheets & also optimistic that the fair will help to boost their

sales in coming months.
