    created by September 2011, a survey revealsThe organised sector in India created 704,800 jobs between January 2011 and June 2011 and369,200 more jobs are expected to be created by September 2011, according to the latestfindings of Ma Foi Randstad Employment Trends Survey-Wave2.The survey was conducted among 690 companies across 13 industry segments panning eightIndian cities. According to the survey, the healthcare sector has remained the largest employmentgenerator with 1,15,000 jobs created in H1, followed by the hospitality sector with 94,000 jobscreated during the same period.The IT/ITeS sector, which witnessed a turnaround in 2010-11 byposting a double digit growth, continues to grow at the same pace and has added 91,000 jobs inH1. In the cities, New Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai continue to lead the job market generating

    1,39,700 jobs between January and June 2011, as predicted earlier this year.KEY FINDINGS OF THE SURVEY: A significant increase in hiring was reported by the IT & ITeSsector in H1.This sector has also seen a salary increase of 17.9 per cent for lateral job shifts; Employment generation in the non-machinery manufacturing sector was lower than what wassuggested by the key players in the sector during the last survey; The real estate & constructionsector, which was among the top three in the same period in 2010, is now in the fifth position. At15 per cent, this sector has also reported the lowest salary increase for lateral job shifts; Amongthe cities, Pune has reported a higher increase in the average salary (17.1 per cent) for lateral jobshifts, followed by Bangalore (16.9 per cent) and Mumbai (16.8 per cent) during H1 of 2011; Hiring of experienced workforce is the highest in manufacturing with 7.3 per cent in themachinery and equipment sector in H1 The healthcare sector, on the other hand, opened its armsfor more freshers (29.7 percent during the same period.

    process, pattern of examination, issuance of call letters and score cards. Candidates who appear for the CWEwill be able to check their status after the examination. Scorecards will be issued to candidates who secure

    minimum qualifying marks and above in each test of the examination. It should, however, be noted thatsuccessful candidates in the CWE who have been issued scorecards and who meet the stipulated eligibility

    criteria are then required to apply to any of the participating banks they wish to as and when individual banks callfor applications, quoting their personal details and their CWE scores. Each bank will then individually shortlist

    candidates and carry out their own selection processes such as Interviews etc. for final selection. Eachparticipating Public Sector Bank will independently issue a separate recruitment notification, specifying their

    vacancies and stipulating the eligibility criteria in terms of age, educational qualification, proficiency in OfficialLanguage of the State/UT for which vacancies he wishes to apply, experience (if any), minimum required level

    of IBPS score in each test and on Total Score (if any) etc. Since clerical cadre recruitment would be onState-wise basis, candidates can apply for vacancies in one State/ UT only. It will therefore be necessary that

    candidates appear for examination in one of the centres of a particular State/UT where they would like to applyfor emaployment i.e. they have to appear for the examination from a centre for that particular State/UT as

    mentioned in Annexure I. The candidate may also be required to possess proficiency in the Official Languageof the State/UT for which vacancies he wishes to apply to be eligible as per the notifications of the Participating

    Banks. B. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA (as on 01.08.2011) : Prospective Candidates should ensure that they fulfillthe minimum eligibility criteria specified by IBPS before applying for the Common Written Examination (CWE):

    Please note that the eligibility criteria specified herein are the basic criteria for applying to variousPublic Sector Banks. However merely applying for CWE/ appearing for and qualifying in the examination

    does not imply that a candidate will necessarily be eligible for employment in all or any of the 19 PublicSector Banks as each Bank will stipulate its own eligibility/ qualifying criteria. I. Nationality / Citizenship:

    hearing is non- functional for ordinary purposes of life i.e. total loss of hearing in both ears. They do not h

    understand sounds at all even with amplified speech. Hearing impairment means loss of sixty decibels or in the better ear in the conversational range of frequencies. Orthopaedically Challenged (OC) Locom

    Disability means disability of bones, joints or muscles leading to substantial restriction of the movement olimbs or any form of cerebral palsy. Cerebral Palsy means a group of non-progressive conditions of pe
