Life Skills (Life Orientation)
Grade 8- Study Skills:
Our Study Skills book has been written to assist students in developing, academic skills, study
strategies, and approaches applied to learning.
This book assists students to develop an array of skills that tackle the process of organising and taking
in new information, retaining information, or dealing with assessments. They include mnemonics,
which aid the retention of lists of information; effective reading; concentration techniques; and
efficient note-taking

Life Skills (Life Orientation)
Grade 9- Thinking Skills
Our Thinking Skills book assists students to develop specific mental and cognitive processes that a
person draws upon to think effectively.
Thinking Skills we use to problem-solve, reason, and hypothesize.
The student workbook has been designed to follow a Teachers presentation. Teachers’ presentations
are available through our teacher’s section on our website.

EMS (Business Studies and Economics)
Our Grade 7- Grade 9 Business Studies books are CAPS aligned and include the EMS Economics
sections.
Our Business Studies and Economics books have been written with the direct intent of developing a
passion for the subject, at the same time as gaining depth of knowledge in the subject area.
Our textbooks, are workbook-based, providing space in the book for all student activities.
