SafetyNet Locator for indoor and outdoor tracking  

SafetyNet  Locator  provides  indoor  tracking using  a  network  of  beacons  strategically placed  around  a  building  complex  and  GPS loca on  where  a  clear  view  of  the  sky  is available.   By combining  this  informa on, users can be shown  and  tracked on maps  and  schema c diagrams pre y much anywhere.   

This  informa on  can  be  used  in  a variety of ways to enhance the safety and  security  or  radio  users  and provide  a  vital  tool  in  managing personnel  or  automate  process  and

SafetyNet Locator uses zones to define an area covered by an internal; beacon or an external GeoZone defined on a number of maps.   The use of zones is useful to generate;  

Reports of who entered or le  a zone logged against  me 

Raising  alarms  or  warnings  when  a  par cular  zone  is entered 

Loca on  sequencing  taking ac ons based on movement through zones in a defined order 

For iden fying personal alarms quickly and sending help  Some simple reports are available within SafetyNet  Locator  with  others  available on request for custom applica ons*.

Radio Equipment supported  For outdoor tracking, all GPS enabled Hytera radios can be used preferably with the RRS op on enabled.  

For indoor tracking on TETRA, the TETRA PT580H uses the external SafetyNet Locator Receiver module fi ed onto the accessory port.   For DMR systems, the X1 and PD7xx series radios are supported. The X1p and X1e have an internal module fi ed into the op on board space whilst the PD7xx series can have an internally fi ed board using the op on board facility. The external module is also an op on.  The modules are designed to minimalize power drain from the radio 

typically reducing the ba ery charge by approximately 1 hour.  

SPECIFICATIONS 

Indoor beacons  SafetyNet Locator indoor beacons are provided in ba ery operated  or mains power op ons and with various security facili es. Ba ery operated beacons provides a highly cost effec ve means of covering a facility without the need for expensive network or power cabling to each beacon. This gives ul mate flexibility in placement of  beacons in remote areas.   Ba ery life for beacons s between 1.5‐5 years depending on power and update rates. SafetyNet Locator maintains a log of all beacons and warns the system operator  if a ba ery is nearing end of life of the beacon has not been updated within a defined  me window.

SafetyNet is a modular system allowing ul mate customisa on. A standard set of configura ons are provided with op ons to expand facili es if needed. Entry level provide for;  

Operates on a single Windows PC and this can be supplied using a Lenovo combined monitor and PC pre‐configured 

Direct connec on to a Hytera  PD985 or RD625 repeater 

Indoor or outdoor or both op ons with mapping func ons using OpenStreet maps and Windows bitmap indoor schema cs
