• An advisory group is working to develop factors to consider consistency with new guidelines

Reach Community Development requesting amendment of comp plan and zoning map designation on two parcels from Neighborhood Commercial to OR-22 to create more affordable housing units.

Title 40 amendment: Hemp
• Federal Agriculture Improvement Act of 2018 changed certain federal authorities relating to producing and marketing hemp. Hemp is now considered an agricultural commodity.

Title 40 amendments: If not included as a biannual code amendment: • 40.560.020 Concomitant Rezone Agreements • Amend sign code section to point to Hwy 99, marijuana, and mixed
use sections which have unique sign code requirements • Amend 40.260.115 to reflect correct RCW and change sign
dimensions from sq ft to sq inches. • Various sections – legal notice requirement • Appendix F. 4.4 Multifamily Overlay delete mini-storage warehouse

Countywide Planning Policy process - GMA requires counties and cities to collaboratively develop Countywide Planning policies. [RCW 36.70A.210] • Amend the CWPPs to add a policy outlining the process to
amend/add to the CWPPs.
