WHO SAYS YOU CAN’T HAVE IT ALL?

CHOOSE FROM TWO POWERFUL DEGREESIUPUI offers academic programs from Indiana and Purdue University. As a student here, you can pursue degree options from Purdue, IU, or both!

Two schools offer Purdue programs: the School of Engineering and Technology and the School of Science. There you’ll find the best that Purdue has to offer, including a variety of biology, computer science, and engineering degrees.

Or find your home among one of the 15 schools that offer Indiana University degrees, including top programs in business, education, and social work.

You’ll also find a number of options only available at IUPUI, including degrees in philanthropic studies and music technology.

EVERYTHING YOU COULD WANT IN A COLLEGE EXPERIENCE—AND MOREAt IUPUI, you’re part of a diverse campus community that has everything you’d find on a traditional college campus—with the added excitement and opportunities that a big city brings.

YOU GOTTA REGATTA

Every September, we have our own kind of homecoming celebration. Our community converges on the canal in downtown Indianapolis for the IUPUI Regatta, a half-mile canoe race that raises funds for student scholarships.

STAY FIT AND CHEER LOUDLY

Your recreation fee allows you to play intramural sports, take group fitness classes, and work out at facilities like the Campus Center’s 10,000-square-foot fitness center, the National Institute for Fitness and Sports (NIFS), and the IU Natatorium swimming complex. And if you’d rather watch sports than play them, you can cheer on your fellow Jaguars as they compete in 18 Division I sports.

Ethan Wright, Milford, INEthan is a Music Therapy major who hopes to work at Riley’s Children’s Hospital, where he has been an intern for over two years.

“Not only is IUPUI fairly affordable and accommodating to students from rural areas,

it allows you to adventure out into new environments, meet new people, grow as a person, and truly find yourself. It helped me learn to speak my mind in a professional manner to other individuals who I may have not even dared to speak to before.”

AFFORDABILITY, QUALITY, VALUEAs the home of two world-class institutions with a mission to provide broad access to higher education, we strive to make IUPUI affordable by keeping tuition low, offering a substantial amount of financial aid, and providing programs to help minimize your debt.

To ensure you’re maximizing the amount of aid you can receive, apply by these deadlines.

November 15: Priority date for full merit aid consideration and Honors College admission/scholarship deadline

February 15: Deadline to apply for admission-based scholarships

DETERMINE YOUR COSTS

The amount you pay depends on several factors, including your degree program and your residency (whether you’re an in-state or out-of-state student). To get an idea of what your costs might be—and how much aid you may receive—use our net price calculator at go.iupui.edu/npc.

MAXIMIZE YOUR SCHOLARSHIP POTENTIAL

You may be eligible for a number of IUPUI scholarships.

Admission-based scholarships are automatically awarded based on your high school GPA upon successful admission. To be considered, apply by February 15.

Honors College scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis to high-achieving incoming freshmen who successfully apply to IUPUI and the Honors College. November 15 is the priority date for full merit aid consideration as well as the deadline to apply for both Honors College admission and scholarships.

Competitive and diversity scholarships are available and may be awarded based on your major, financial need, academic performance, and/or

extracurricular activities. Some require an essay specific to the scholarship. You can search these opportunities and apply through IU Scholarships/Blackbaud Award Management (BAM). Deadlines for these scholarships vary.

SAVE WITH THE MSEP AWARD

If you are a nonresident student living in a state that participates in the Midwest Student Exchange Program (MSEP), or in Michigan, you could save more than $64,000 on tuition across four years. Students who meet GPA criteria receive this notable award upon successful admission. No separate application is needed.

MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR NEED-BASED FINANCIAL AID ELIGIBILITY

File the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at fafsa.gov to be considered for need-based grants offered by IUPUI, in addition to federal and state financial aid programs.

We begin sending financial aid notices in mid-December, so the sooner you file the FAFSA, the sooner you receive your aid package.
