Graduation Ceremony
Date: May 30th Time: 9:00 am Gate Opens: 7:00 am Location: Bulldog Stadium Senior Check-In Time: 8:30 am
Graduates ONLY Graduates will have a health-screening and check-in area where they line-up (behind the high school). All graduates should be in dress code when they arrive on campus (clean shaven and no abnormal hair colors). Graduates, please refer to the dress code at the end of this document. A graduate that arrives on campus in their own car, alone, may park behind the high school. Please use the entrance closest to the middle school (the other entrance is closed). If there is another person in the car, you must go through the public entrance. Graduates in the public line may exit the vehicle and pass between the main high school building and the cafeteria to get to the graduate area.
Personal Protection Equipment We believe that it is a personal choice whether or not to wear PPE. Graduates and guests are asked to determine their risk level and decide accordingly. Personnel that are performing health screenings and/or issuing diplomas will wear PPE as appropriate.
Traffic Flow
All traffic should enter the high school main parking lot closest to the middle school. All other entrances will be closed. Traffic will be one-way and in two lanes. If it all possible, members from the same household should travel in the same vehicle. There will be a health screening and ticketing area close to the administration building. Please stay in your car until screening is completed and you are directed to a parking space.
2020 Graduation and Baccalaureate Ceremonies Revised: 5/26
Tickets All graduates will receive a total of four tickets for the guests of their choice. Graduates will also receive a ticket to guarantee there are no issues with their entrance into the stadium. Every individual, including children (regardless of age), must have a ticket to enter school property. The additional two tickets issued after the first two-ticket pick-up are available at the high school from 9 – 4 daily, until graduation. We will also have the additional tickets available at Baccalaureate. Coach Taylor will be in front of the high school to hand them out. PLEASE NOTE THAT NO TICKETS WILL BE ISSUED ON THE DAY OF GRADUATION.
Health Screening As indicated by the Texas Education Agency, all individuals, including graduates, will be screened for symptoms of COVID-19. This will include a temperature check at the health screening and ticketing area. Any individual exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms will not be permitted to attend. All individuals are encouraged to print and complete the health screening form prior to arriving on campus. We will have forms available for anyone without access to a printer.
Entering the Stadium All guests that are approved to enter at the Health Screening and Ticketing tent will be issued a wristband. A wristband is required for each individual entering the stadium.
Seating We are utilizing all areas of the home-side and visitor bleachers at the stadium. Space is partitioned in a manner to allow two individuals from the same household to sit next to each other. Care has been taken to ensure there is at least a six-foot buffer zone between each seating area. Guests will be escorted to seats to ensure social-distancing guidelines are followed. We have approximately 32 single-person seats and 203 two-person seats for a total maximum capacity of 438 using social distancing guidelines. No more than two people may sit together, and at least 18 MUST sit in seats for singles. Please note that there are no more than 32 single-person seats. Once those are gone, you will have to sit with one other person (in the same household). All guests must be seated – Standing along the railing and fence lines is not allowed – unless you are working the event.
Security As in past years, security has been hired to assist with crowd control. All security personnel are certified peace officers. Ample personnel are available to ensure that

social distancing guidelines and procedures are followed prior to, during, and after the graduation ceremony.
Emergency Health Services (Graduation ONLY) A medical station will be available at the stadium to help with any medical needs that might arise. An ambulance will be present as well.
Exiting the Stadium As instructed by TEA, “specific plans should be developed for arrivals and departures to ensure appropriate social distancing.” Graduates will be dismissed and will exit through the entrance in which they entered. At graduation, this will happen after caps have been returned after the cap toss. Once the graduates have left the stadium, guests will be dismissed by rows in an orderly fashion. Families are asked to meet their graduates and leave premises thereafter.
