2020EVENTS TRAININGWORKSHOPS

East Gippsland Shire Council's events team presents training workshops in marketing, growingyour event, risk management, budgeting, raising funds and some more to help you plan andsucceed in presenting safe and standout events in our community.  These sessions will suit anytype of event looking for training or up-skilling in event planning and delivery. Due to COVID-19, the free, two-hour long sessions will now be delivered as on-line webinarsvia Zoom. You can now join in on the conversation from your home or office and askquestions via the message board. Previous evening sessions have been cancelled. Recordingswill be made available. Also part of the program will be an Event Management Masterclass. The masterclass workshopis currently under review because of COVID-19. WORKSHOP OVERVIEWBudgets are a detailed forecast of your event'sincome and expenditure and getting it right is acrucial step during the planning phase of anyevent.  Sponsorship and funding for events is a keyelement to getting events off the ground, as theymove towards being financially sustainable.  Thisworkshop aims to provide participants with skills inmanaging their event money, building confidencewith grant writing and finding event sponsorship. Jodie will also cover measuring outcomes for grantacquittals, research and in-kind support.
