Halloween Trunk or Treat Festivities We had a fabulous turnout for our October Trunk or Treat! Prizes were awarded for a costume contest for each grade. We had some amazingly decorated trunks and it was neck and neck in the ballot box between a few until the very last ballot was counted. Our parents and kids alike really got into the Halloween spirit. And we had some awesome volunteers helping with every aspect of the night. Thank you to all who participated! Trunk or Treat will definitely be back next October! And don’t forget to check out pictures of the festivities on the Gallery on our web site.

Status of the One and Done Fundraising This was planned to be our main fundraiser for the 2019-2020 school year, and we were SO excited to offer this super-easy way to support our students, staff, and school at Oakland without having to buy or sell ANYTHING! In one week, we raised $3,475! And we are now at $5,793! Unfortunately, with only 77 families representing 108 students making donations for the over 600 little Eagles at Oakland, we have fallen well short of our goal. Don’t fret! We won’t automatically launch all the other fundraisers. Not yet. We are going to accept the donations through the end of the year in hopes we get more parents engaged in supporting our little Eagles. Come on folks! It’s for our kids! Click here to view the donation tracker.
