Health Savings AccountA Health Savings Account (HSA) allows members to set aside money on a pre-tax basis, lowering their taxable income and reducing their out-of-pocket expenses. These pre-tax dollars can be used to cover eligible health care expenses. The maximum contribution limits are $3,500 for individuals and $7,000 for families. This program offers a triple tax savings, as it is pre-tax going in, grows tax free, and can be taken out tax free to pay for qualified expenses. It is also portable. The maximum contribution limits for HSA holders age 55+ are $4,500 for individuals and $8,000 for families.

Flexible Spending AccountsA Flexible Spending Account (FSA) allows members to set aside money on a pre-tax basis, lowering their taxable income and reducing their out-of-pocket expenses. These pre-tax dollars can be used to cover eligible health care and dependent care expenses. MFA will match 25% of the first $1,400 of your contribution. The maximum annual election is $2,700 for a health care account and $5,000 for a dependent care account.

Life Insurance, Voluntary Life Insurance & Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D)MFA provides members with basic life and accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) coverage and pays the full premium. You are covered for 1 times your salary up to $200,000 in a life insurance benefit. Should your death be due to an accident, your beneficiary would receive an additional 1 times your salary to $200,000 in an AD&D benefit. Additionally, voluntary life insurance is also available.

Disability Coverage Disability insurance provides members with income protection should they become disabled and unable to work due to an illness or accident (non-occupational). The Short Term Disability policy provides a benefit of 60% of your earnings to a $1,000 maximum weekly benefit. Benefits are paid to any eligible employee who is disabled from work after a 14 day waiting period. The maximum period of payments is 13 weeks. The Long Term Disability policy provides a monthly benefit of 60% of earnings to a $12,000 monthly maximum benefit. Benefits begin after a 90 day waiting period.

401(k) PlanMFA helps members save for retirement on a tax-deferred basis with its 401(k) plan. Once you are eligible, you may begin contributing to your 401(k) on the first of the month following 30 days of employment. Some of the plan features are:

• Both traditional and Roth 401(k) savings plan options

• Matching contribution is 25% of your deferral contribution up to a maximum of 10% of your base compensation per pay period

• Automatic enrollment at a deferral rate of 6%

• Member contribution is deducted from bi-weekly pay and is pre-tax or after tax

Paid Time Off (PTO)We encourage members to take the time they need for vacation, to develop interests, and spend time with friends and family. To that end, full-time members are offered discretionary PTO which provides the freedom and flexibility to take time off when members need or want to, while balancing the needs of customers and their team.

Tuition Assistance PlanRegular full-time members are eligible for reimbursement of up to $3,000 per year. Requirements for reimbursement are proof of course completion and proof of payment. Reimbursement is based on GPA. Please see the full policy for details.

Customer/Member Referral Bonus There are bonus incentives you may be eligible for in referring a customer and/or new member. Please see the applicable policy on ADP Member Central under Policies for additional information.

Professional Certification PolicyMFA supports members who wish to obtain a professional certification (i.e., CPA, CFP, CVA). Reimbursement of up to $3,000 is offered to cover fees and study materials associated with the certification exam.

Members may charge their time to sit for an exam (including travel time) for a maximum of 48 hours. This is limited to two attempts at the exam. The Firm will also reimburse for all renewal fees once the certification is obtained.

MFA CPA License Incentive ProgramMembers who pass all or part or the CPA exam within 18 months of either their offer letter or their date of hire are eligible for a CPA bonus. All allocations will be made to the member’s Profit Participation Plan account over a period of 24 months. Please see the applicable policy on ADP Member Central under Policies for additional information.

Wellness Programs Wellness initiatives will be available to participate in throughout the year through both Cigna and MFA.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP) EmployeeConnect offers confidential assistance to help you and your family meet the challenges that life, work and relationships can bring. Please refer to the brochure on ADP Member Central under Member Benefits for additional information.

• Planned Social Events several times a year to celebrate our accomplishments, strengthen our bonds with each other, and have a little fun.

• Caring for the Community is part of MFA’s core values, meaning we are committed to supporting our community and encourage our members to get involved and give back. MFA has a Firm Volunteer Committee that selects 7 local charities each year for the Firm to sponsor. Members are allowed to participate in the volunteer opportunities of their choice and take up to 1 fully paid day as volunteer time per year.

• An Extensive Learning and Development Program where MFA members are constantly learning and evolving. To ensure our members have the skills and knowledge to continue to flourish, meet our customers’ needs, and grow and develop professionally, we have built an extensive learning and development program. This program includes technical, business, and professional skills in classroom, on-the-job training, and intensive leadership experiences. As part of our learning and development program, we offer:

• 120 day onboarding program for our newest members to fully integrate into the Firm and their new role

• 2 day MFA University program for members get to know each other and the Firm’s value proposition, available to members in their first year

• MFA Aware: a 14 month long business advisory fundamentals, team-based program

• MFA Connect: a formal cross-functional 6 month mentoring program, available to members who have been with the Firm for 2 years

• MFA Ready: an intensive advisory development program, available by invitation only

• Year-round function-specific, cross-Firm technical and professional development opportunities

• Opportunity for our members to forge their own careers: We realize that different members have different priorities and those priorities can change throughout different phases of their careers. We offer our members the ability to forge their own career at their own pace to align with their changing priorities. Our Members can choose to work full time, part-time, flex their schedule, focus on learning and development, progress rapidly in their career and take on more and more responsibility, and/or choose a different department/path if that makes sense. Bottomline, we don’t put limits on our members and their career options, as long as their aspirations and priorities align with the needs of their team and the Firm.
