2019 Goals for Key Strategies
LIFE SKILLS• Onboard Life Skills Leader: Position this new role for
success in delivering structure and resources around Life Skills strategy.
• Build Out Recommendations from Social Services Team: This team, formed in 2018 in response to the CEO Visits, has made recommendations, which the new Life Skills Leader will implement as possible.
• Drive Solution to Social Services Referrals: Operationalize support to staff in making referrals and investigate innovative ways to better connect customers in need with services.
• Develop County Social Services Curriculum: In 2018 we began in-service programs with agencies to explain their program offerings and how best to refer. In 2019 we will develop a regular curriculum around this information.
• Centralize Training, Partnerships and Programming: Continue work begun in 2018 to centralize and promote CML offered trainings (technology, business-related, etc.) and those delivered by partners (ESL, GED, ABL, etc.).
• Utilization of Life Skills Spaces: Explore how to make the most of these valuable spaces.
• CoverMyMeds Partnership: This local company hopes to hire 800 employees with an aspiration that these living wage jobs go to people in poverty. We will pilot a new program at Franklinton and Hilltop branches to train the community.
DATA ANALYTICS• Create the Team: Build a team of data professionals who
are responsible for data analysis and business intelligence functions and processes to provide insight that assist in making better business decisions.
• Launch a Performance Dashboard: Develop a tool that tracks and visually displays performance metrics and relevant data points around our collections and services offered to the public.
• Automate our Data Reporting: Institute the collection, transfer, cleansing, transformation and storage of critical data to facilitate automated reporting and delivery processes.
• Create a Data Culture at CML: Cultivate the necessary changes in mindset around the value of data and how it can be utilized to provide a more accurate perspective of the organization’s value within the community and help drive smart business decisions.
• Drive Learning Circle Data Results: Support and provide analysis to the Learning Circle dashboard.
