Breakfast on Saturday, June 2, 2018
WHEN: Saturday, June 2, 2018 starting at 8:00 a.m. We’ll be done by 9:30. WHERE: Fellowship Hall (Frederick First Church of the Nazarene) WHO: This is a breakfast for Sunday School teachers, substitute teachers, helpers, those who are thinking they might like to teach,
substitute, or help on occasion, or those who are interested in participating in Sunday school. This is for those currently teaching plus anyone else who is interested, considering being interested, or thinking that maybe, possibly, they just might someday be interested in teaching (or something similar) for any age group – from nursery through adults. WHY: To share ideas and plans about Sunday School for teaching the Word of God, making Christ-like disciples, and sharing the good news! The focus will be on identifying plans for the upcoming year and identifying tools and opportunities for equipping and training teachers, or those who may be interested in teaching. OTHER QUESTIONS: 1. Do I have to be a member of the church to attend the breakfast?
• Nope. Anyone interested may attend. 2. Do I need to have prior teaching experience?
• No. We would love to have you here. 3. What if I already know everything?
• Then you’d make a great teacher. You should definitely come. 4. Is there a cost for the breakfast?
• No. But donations are acceptable. 5. What’s to eat?
• Breakfast food. Definitely coffee. Not sure about the details yet. If you have any food allergies or restrictions, please contact David Evans.
6. What if I just want breakfast? • You may come, but you’ll have to stay for the discussion.
7. Will there be a test at the end? • No, but we’ll have additional information for you at the breakfast.
8. What if other questions, or wish to reply? • For more information, please contact David Evans at 301-385-7807,
