LIBOR Reform – New Reference Rates ARE Coming

Treasurers around the world are preparing for the day when the interest rate indexes we have been using, in some cases since the

mid-1980s, will no longer be available. More than US$ 300 trillion of financial instruments, from adjustable rate home mortgages,

to credit cards, to corporate loans, along with a whole book of intra-group transactions are all priced using the London Inter-bank

Offered Rate (“LIBOR”). Hear how treasurers should prepare for this sweeping change affecting financial markets in the U.S.,

Europe, U.K., Japan, and around the world.

5 2018 Fall Treasurers Conference

1:30 – 1:45 pm Break

1:45 – 3:15 pm Fintech for Treasurers – How Treasury Systems Can Benefit from the Latest Technologies

Join a discussion of:

• How treasury teams can employ Business Intelligence to deliver compelling, insightful FX reports that reveal to business leaders

their exposures and profit-making opportunities. Business Intelligence.

• How new technology can empower your business to achieve new levels of efficiency, risk management and controls by using

blockchain and smart contracts built for enterprise finance. Explore how you can help your organization improve productivity and

margins, enhance client service and drive strategic innovation.

• Many technology companies are proposing innovative blockchain solutions for financial professionals. However, most distributed

ledger products require substantial retooling and broad participation from disparate parties. The investment and work required

are substantial. We believe there is a better way. Adjoint has developed our own open-source platform and enhanced set

of privacy tools that enable the development of blockchain-embedded smart contracts. Our solution does not require the

replacement or retooling of an insurer’s existing legacy systems. A real-time distributed ledger in the form of a user-friendly

dashboard to track all of an treasurer’s placement processes.
