New Music Works proudly features a newly commissioned chamber ensemble work by Maayan Tsadka, a recent graduate of the DMA program at UCSC and currently teaching at the University of Haifa, Israel.

Also, enjoy the world premiere of scoTT sTobbe’s new string quartet. Michael McGushin presents his work that premiered at UCSC last year – offering many shades of sheila Willey’s lovely soprano voice.

Two chamber works by larry Polansky, composer and UCSC faculty member, will be presented along with a sextet by Pablo rubio VarGas, who is currently a candidate in the DMA program at UCSC.
