CREDENTIAL REQUESTS Season long credentials are issued in April; game-by-game credentials must be requested before 5p.m. on the Wednes-day prior to each home game. All credential requests must be submitted to Kaley Rentz at [email protected] or 740-877-1734.

Media wishing to conduct interviews with any member of the Ohio Machine should contact Kaley Rentz. Please call at least one day in advance.

Please direct all road requests for Machine road games to the host teams media contact.

Weekly Release

The weekly release, which included notes and stastics, is available each week on the official Ohio Machine website: theohiomachine.com.

Media Game services

Game notes and starting lineups will be made available to the media prior to each game. Scoring summaries will be distrib-uted to the media about 10 minutes following the game. Any additional requests should be directed to Kaley Rentz.

Radio and TV broadcasts Members of the media wishing to broadcast Ohio Machine games should contact Kaley Rentz at least 48 hours prior to the date

Post Game porcedures

Interviews will begin approximately 10 minutes after the game ends. There is no formal press conference; interviews will be held on the field or by the team lockerrooms. A member of the Ohio Machine will assist with interviews. Please inform a member of the athletics communications office of any specific requests.

All still photography requests of Ohio Machine plaeyers and coaches must be emailed to Kaley Rentz ([email protected]).

HEAD COACH BEAR DAVIS

Bear Davis completed his fourth season as head coach for the Ohio Machine in 2016. He took over the program in June 24, 2013, after spending the majority of his coaching career in collegiate lacrosse.

In his first season as head coach, Davis led the team to a program best 8-6 record. Under the first year head coach the team went to the 2014 MLL Semi-Finals. The Machine’s six-game improvement is tied for the largest single-season turnaround in Major League Lacrosse history.

Under Davis, the Machine posted the top-ranked offense is Major League Lacrosse in 2014. The team ended their 2014 season with five straight wins, which is tied for the longest winning streak in MLL that season.

Prior to joining Robert Morris, Davis helped start the Wheeling Jesuit men’s lacrosse program and guided the cardinals to a No. 1 national ranking in 2003.

In addition to handling the Ohio Machine, Davis will also be serving as the team Operations Manager and the Vice President of Community Relations, heading COYLL (Central Ohio Youth Lacrosse League). Davis took over COYLL in 2016 and is excited to continue his improvement of the game of lacrsosse throughout the Midwest.

Davis currently resides in Hilliard with his wife Marissa, daughter Sadie and two sons, Matthew and Kaiden.

he Machine boasted four players that scored 27 or more goals, a feat that hadn’t been accomplished in the league since 2004.

Davis was the runner up for the Brine Coach of the Year Award in 2014 and 2015.

In 2016, head coach Davis lead the Machine to an 8-6 record and a spot in the MLL Semi-finals, the Machine would then advance to the MLL Championship Game against the Denver Outlaws. Unfortunately, after a back and fourth battle the Machine lost.

Under Davis, the Machine have had 26 MLL All-Stars and four All-MLL Players., included MLL League MVP Tom Schreiber.

Darryl Delia is back with the Ohio Machine serving as Offensive Coordinator for a second straight year. Delia is responsible for coordinating the offensive unit of the team, including practice, game planning, and management. Delia is continuing into his fifth year with the Albertus Magnus College men’s lacrosse program. 2016 was a record-setting season for the Albertus Magnus College men's lacrosse team as the Falcons ended the year a 4-10 overall record and finished eighth in the GNAC. The team set a new school record with four wins as AMC scored victories against Anna Maria, Wheelock, Emerson and Mount St. Vincent. He also coached the program's first-ever Academic All-American who was ranked in the top-five of the country in scoring. Currently, Delia is the Executive Director of DSquared Lacrosse, a clinic/camp program based out of Connecticut, and also a Director of Lacrosse at the CT Speed School and co-owner of Run & Shoot Lacrosse. Delia is employed full-time as a lacrosse/team sales representative for Lids Team Sports.

Offensive Coordinator Darryl deliaSecond season

Nat St. Laurent will return for his third season with the Machine and second as defensive coordinator. St. Laurent is responsible for coordinating the defensive unit of the team, includ-ing practice, game planning, and management. St. Laurent will be in his second season as the head coach of the Ohio Northern Polar Bears, continuing to excel the team as it entered its second year as a Division III program. Prior to ONU, St. Laurent worked for four seasons as an assistant lacrosse coach at Washington and Lee Generals (Va.), where he served as offensive coordinator. Under St. Laurent, the Generals posted a 35-21 record with two trips to the ODAC Tournament finals and a bid to the 2013 NCAA Division III Tournament. He coached eight All-ODAC honorees, two All-Americans and the ODAC Rookie of the Year while at W&L. Nat and his wife, Cristin, have two daughters, Jaylin and Janessa and a son, Jamarcus.

Defensive Coordinator nat st. Laurent

Third Season

Eric O’Brien will be serving his first year as an MLL Assistant Coach after playing in the Face-off spot for seven seasons spending time with the Ohio Machine, the Chesapeake Bayhawks, and the Atlanta Blaze. O’Brien will be serving as faceoff specialist and special teams coordinator. He will be responsi-ble for guiding the faceoffs and leading special units towards success through-out the season. O’Brien is a Columbus native and is committed to improving the game of lacrosse in Central Ohio. O’Brien started his lacrosse career at St. Charles Preparatory school in Columbus, before continuing on to the Ohio State University men’s lacrosse team. He currently resides in Columbus with his wife Libby. The couple had their first baby girl this spring.
