Our Goals:

Invite United Ways across North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and others to share a common message and graphic look for 2016 marketing materials.

Create message and products that resonate with investors, strengthen communication about United Way work, and increase brand equity – We are problem solvers!

Offer access to graphic designer for customization needs (if staff or software not available), and access to online portal for download of template, upload of completed material, and ordering process through the printer of choice, Classic.

Cost savings result for everyone!

Resource for Graphic Design Bonnie Emadi

I’ve been a graphic designer for over 20 years, and have experience working with both corporate and non-profit organizations. Designing attractive and cost effective marketing materials is my passion! My many years as a designer and managing art director for Bank of America taught me the importance of maintaining brand consistency, a concept I was eager to implement when I joined United Way of Central Carolinas. My first year at United Way I initiated brand standards where there had been none, and reduced the cost of fundraising campaign materials and stationery by 50%. Later, I was excited to be selected as the Charlotte representative leading an annual collaboration of over 25 United Ways, with the goals of increasing brand consistency and decreasing production costs. The result was tremendous- affordable, consistent campaign materials for many United Ways in our region who otherwise could not have afforded professional-looking materials. Since leaving United Way of Central Carolinas 5 years ago, I have continued working with other North Carolina UW's on a freelance basis. I also do graphic design projects for UNC Charlotte, Hospice and Palliative Care Charlotte Region, Automated Solutions, Pat's Place, International House, Communities in Schools, and Foodbuy (Compass Food Group).

Bonnie Emadi has worked with United Way of North Carolina for more than 15 years, providing design assistance for the Unified Marketing initiative. She can be reached at [email protected] or 704-332-4966.
