Eligibility:Any male, with amateur status, 18 years or older as of July 8, 2016, residing in Bexar, Comal, Kendall, Kerr, Wilson, Atascosa, Medina, Guadalupe, or Bandera counties for a minimum of three months prior to the Championship date. Active duty military residents are exempt from three month residency requirement. The Committee has the right to make exceptions in certain circumstances.Information:

Championship field is limited to the top 84 men that have qualified. Any late entries will be admitted on a space available basis only. Players who withdraw after the deadline will not receive a refund. Players who withdraw before the deadline are subject to a $15.00 service fee.

Format:Qualifier #1 May 24, 2016 at The Quarry Golf Club:

Field is limited to 84 players competing for 42 spots Deadline to register for Qualifier #1 will be May 10, 2016 by 6:00 pm

Qualifier #2 June 12, 2016 Comanche Trace Club Field is limited to 72 players competing for 42 spots Deadline to register for Qualifier #2 will be June 3, 2016 by 6:00 pm

Championship Rounds for Top 84 that Qualify: 54 Hole Stroke Play Competition-Gross Men 25 and older will be eligible to compete simultaneously for the Men’s Mid-Am This is a GSA Player of the Year and Rudy’s I-35 Cup points event

Yardages: Championship Flight—approximately 6900 yards

Rules: Play will be governed by the Rules of Golf as approved by the USGA. All players must conform with the USGA Rules of Amateur Status as specified in the USGA Rules of Golf. Rules Committee Decisions will be final. Caddies and pull carts are permitted. In this competition, a player may obtain distance information by using a device that measures distance only. Devices

and distances may be shared with other players.

Championship Awards Ceremony: July 10, 2016 immediately following play at The Resort Course at La Cantera 

Important Information: Rounds may be reduced due to weather and unplayable conditions. Starting times will be established by the committee and special requests will not be available.

Appropriate golf attire is required.
