HIGH INTENSITY MEN’S PHYSIQUE OPEN DIVISION United States Resident ONLY and a NATIONAL QUALIFIER

HEIGHT CLASSES: Up to & including 5’ 7” | Over 5’ 7” up to & including 5’ 10” | Over 5’10

JUDGING CRITERIA MUSCULARITY AND BODY CONDITION Judges will be looking for fit contestants who display proper shape and symmetry combined with muscularity and overall condition. This is not a bodybuilding contest so extreme muscularity should be marked down.

STAGE PRESENCE AND PERSONALITY Contestants will be asked to walk in board shorts (shorts must be just above the knee in length and can be one inch below the belly button, no spandex and no logos are permitted on the board shorts however a manufacturer’s logo such as Nike symbol or Billabongs are acceptable.) Competitors will enter the stage without a shirt and barefoot. No lewd acts allowed for example the moon pose. Judges are looking for the competitor with the best stage presence and poise that can successfully convey his personality to the audience.

COMPETITION JUDGING

PRESENTATION Competitors will walk directly to the square located in the center of the stage alone and perform front & back turns with optional pose of hand on hip or hand in pocket, face the judges as directed then proceed to the side of the stage.

COMPARISON ROUND The competitors will be brought back out in a group and directed to do front & back turns. Judges will have the opportunity to compare competitors against each other with front & back turns.

WHO QUALIFIES

FOR NATIONAL LEVEL MEN’S PHYSIQUE COMPETITIONS For 2015, the top three (3) in a national qualifying Men´s Physique contest will be qualified for the NPC USA and NPC National Championships. The top five (5) will qualify for all other national contests including the NPC Junior USA, NPC Junior National, NPC Team Universe and IFBB North American Championships. At a non-qualifying contest, no athletes are qualified for a national contest. One-year qualification for the top five (5) places in each class at national-level contests previously listed.

HIGH INTENSITY MEN’S BODYBUILDING DIVISION United States Resident ONLY and a NATIONAL QUALIFIER

BODYBUILING QUALIFICATIONS Bodybuilding competitors that place in the top five (5) in each class at a national qualifying contest are qualified for the Junior USA, Junior Nationals, Team Universe and North American Championships. Competitors that place in the top three at a national qualifying contest are eligible for the USA and Nationals. All National level qualifications are good for one year including the USA and Nationals. Those athletes that qualified for the USA and Nationals will be grandfathered in for the 2015 USA and Nationals.

WHO QUALIFIES FOR NATIONAL LEVEL COMPETITIONS: 1. This qualifies the competitor for competition on the national level for a period of one (1) full calendar year after the year that the qualification took place 2. Only if a competitor’s one (1) year qualification has expired can an athlete enter a state or higher level national qualifying competition even if they have already won the overall title.

WEIGHT CLASSES [bodybuilding only]

POSING TIMES FOR BODYBUILDING COMPETITORS: All competitors will perform at the night show

Prejudging Routine: 60 Seconds (NO MUSIC)

Night Show Routine: 90 Seconds (with MUSIC)

Posing Music: Bodybuilding competitors must supply their own posing music. Music may be emailed to [email protected] . Music files should be one of the following formats (.mp3 .wma .aif) Please send us your music as soon as possible. As your routine is limited to 90 seconds, music is limited to 90 seconds. In the event that your music exceeds the 90 second limit it will be faded out at the appropriate time. Make sure to identify your music with the competitors name and division entering also, please designate whether we should start your music with you ON or OFF stage. Music that has profanity will result in immediate disqualification of the competitor. The final deadline to upload your music is March 21, 2016. Earlier submissions will be tested for flaws.

HIGH INTENSITY FIGURE OPEN DIVISION United States Resident ONLY and a NATIONAL QUALIFIER

HEIGHT CLASSES: UP TO INCLUDING 5’4” | OVER 5’4” GENERAL COMPETITION INFORMATION This competition is open to all competitors 18 years and older and is a contest to emphasize physical fitness, beauty, health, and poise. Presentable regulation posing suits must be worn. Thongs or T-back posing suits are not permitted. Acceptable 2-piece swimsuits are swimsuits that are 2 separate pieces that covers 50% of the glute area, triangle top or push-ups. Swimsuits can be solid, multi-colored or metallic. Decorations are allowed such as, studs, sequins, rhinestones, ribbons, etc., and jewelry may be worn. Please bring 2-piece swimsuit, and high heels to prejudging and evening performances.

NPC JUDGING CRITERIA FOR WOMEN’S FIGURE When judging a figure competition, the judges shall assess the athleticism of the physique. This is not a bodybuilding contest. Separations and striations will not be rewarded. The muscle tone should appear firm and round with a small amount of body fat over the muscle. The figure competitions provide alternative contests for athletic women to train, but do not wish to gain muscle size, vascular, or “cuts” required for bodybuilding competitions or the physical demands of a fitness routine.

FIGURE COMPETITION ROUNDS AND RULES

JUDGES RATE THE COMPETITORS ON THREE IMPORTANT ELEMENTS Femininity: A combination of beauty, athleticism and body shape. The tight-skinned, no-fat appearance gives the finished look to a championship feminine physique. Symmetry: Related to the overall body parts and muscle groups. All areas should show relatively equal development, overall degree of athleticism and proportion. Presentation: Includes the athlete’s posture, grooming, facial beauty, and healthy appearance. Make-up should be finished and feminine. Keep in mind your face makeup should be dark enough to match your body make-up and skin tone. Hair can be of any particular style, including up or down, but should be moved off your back during quarter turns. PREJUDGING: ROUND ONE: NPC UPDATE: COMPETITION JUDGING ROUND ONE - Presentation:

• Competitors will walk directly to the square located in the center of the stage alone and perform quarter (1/4) turns, face the judges as directed then proceed to the side of the stage.

ROUND TWO - Comparison Round – Two Piece Swimsuit:

• Competitors will be judged wearing a two-piece swimsuit and high heels • The competitors will be brought back out in a group and directed to do quarter turns • Judges will have the opportunity to compare competitors against each other in quarter turns.

FINALS_NIGHT SHOW: All Competitors must bring a 2-piece swimsuit and high heels. Only the winner from each height class will be re-judged for the overall. Please read the new updated N.P.C. rules and regulations as well as the figure guideline rules carefully. FIGURE OPEN NATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS Once a competitor places well enough to be nationally qualified (1st, 2nd and 3rd, in each class) on a state level they are eligible for the Junior National, USA and National Figure Championship. For example if you have place 1st, 2nd or 3rd on the state level in 2015, you are qualified for the Nationals or USA’s up until Dec 2016. If you place 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th in each class, are eligible for the Junior USA, Teen Collegiate Master Nationals and Team Universe Figure Championship till 2016.

Top 5 places in each class at National Qualifying events will qualify competitors for one year to compete in NPC national level Bikini contests. The NPC national level contests are listed below:

• JUNIOR USA BIKINI CHAMPIONSHIPS • JUNIOR NATIONAL BIKINI CHAMPIONSHIPS • USA BIKINI CHAMPIONSHIPS • TEAM UNIVERSE BIKINI CHAMPIONSHIPS • IFBB NORTHE AMERICAN BIKINI CHAMPIONSHIPS • NATIONAL BIKINI CHAMPIONSHIP

COMPETITOR RULES • Competitors will compete in a two-piece suit. The bottom of the suit must be v-shaped. No thongs are

permitted. Competitors can compete in an off the rack suit. All swimsuits must be in good taste. • The bikini competitor will be judged wearing a two-piece suit preferably “off the rack” type suit. Suit must

be worn at the height check in for determination of proper fit. The bottom should be in good taste covering about 50% of the glute area. No thong type suits will be allowed. If the athlete has any questions they should bring a second suit with a more modest bottom. The final decision will rest with the District Chairman or his representative at the competition.

• The Head judge at each event will instruct the athletes at the athlete meeting that they are not permitted to “hike up” the bikini bottom or will face possible disqualification.

• Competitors must wear high heels. • Competitors may wear jewelry. • The Bikini athlete should be warned about improper suits and advised to bring two (2) suits to check in. • The fronts of suit are too low and must be constructed higher. • Athlete’s scores will be marked down if the suit is not up to standard. • Athletes should be instructed at the meeting what is permitted on stage. • ****ONLY THE APPROVED BIKINI BOTTOM (will be approved by head judge at the time of Height check in)

will be allowed during the Pre-judging and Night show****

COMPETITION JUDGING PRESENTATION

• Competitors will walk directly to the square located in the center of the stage alone and perform their Model Walk (personal preference)

• No lewd acts permitted. Length of time allowed – 10 seconds. This information should be reiterated by the expediter prior to the athlete entering the stage.

• Walking to the center of the stage, stop and do a front stance then full turn and do a rear stance then turn to the front again in front of the judges and then proceed to the side of the stage.

• Comparison Round, Two-Piece Swimsuit • Competitors will be judged wearing a two-piece swimsuit and high heels. • The competitors will be brought out in a group and directed to do a full front and rear stance.

• Judges will be scoring competitors on the following items: • Balance, Shape, and Overall physical appearance including complexion, skin tone, poise and overall

presentation.

****UPDATE NPC BIKINI RULING EFFECTIVE NOVEMBER 25, 2014**** At the Board of Governs meeting on November 20th in Miami, Florida the following topic was discussed. Bikini poses – Walk to the center of the stage, stop and do a front stance – hand(s) on hip front pose – then a full turn and do a back stance – hand(s) on hip back pose – then turn to the front again – hands on hip – and face the judges as directed then proceed to the side of the stage. No lewd acts are permitted. ****Bikini competitors during all phases of judging, if the position of your legs are too far apart or when you turn to do the back pose & your body is bend over too far, be advised the judges will score the Bikini competitor down.****

BODYBUILDING, PHYSIQUE, BIKINI & FIGURE CHAMPIONSHIPS

In consideration of being allowed to participate in any way in the High Intensity Physique, Bikini & Figure Championships ("Event") promoted by

IFBB Pro Gerald G. Saragosa, Jr. ("Promoter") and sanctioned by the National Physique Committee of the USA, Inc. ("NPC'''), its related events and

activities, I, (Please print name) ________________________________, the undersigned, acknowledge, appreciate and agree that: The risk of

injury from the activities involved in this Event is significant, including the potential for permanent paralysis and death, and while particular skills,

equipment, and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious injury does exist; and, I KNOWLINGLY AND FREELY ASSUME ALL SUCH

RISKS, both known and unknown, EVEN IF ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE PROMOTER AND/OR THE NPC or others, and assume full

responsibility for my participation; and, I willingly agree to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for participation, if,

however, I observe any unusual significant hazard during my presence or participation, I will remove myself from participation and bring such to

the attention of the Promoter immediately; and I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin, HEREBY

RELEASE, INDEMNIFY, AND HOLD HARMLESS THE PROMOTER AND THE NPC and each of their officers, officials, agents and/or employees, other

participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, advertisers, and if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used for the activity ("Releasees"), WITH

RESPECT TO ANY AND ALL INJURY DISABILITY, DEATH, or loss or 'damage to person or property associated with my presence at or participation in

or in traveling to and from the Event, WHETHER ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES OR OTHERWISE, to the fullest extent

permitted by law.

The undersigned further consents and agrees that the undersigned will comply with all rules and regulations of the Sangha Hall ("Hall”). The

undersigned further agrees that the undersigned will indemnify and hold harmless the NPC and the Promoter from and against any damages

caused by the undersigned to the Hall. Finally, the undersigned acknowledges that the undersigned's failure to comply with any rule or regulation

of the Hall may result in disciplinary action against the undersigned including, but not limited to, suspension as a member of the NPC and/or

competing in contests sanctioned by the NPC. In further consideration of permission being granted to me to participate in the Event and its related

events, I hereby grant the NPC, Promoter and/or any other NPC-approved video or entertainment organization and all of their agents, successors,

licensees and assigns, the right to photograph or otherwise reproduce (whether by film, tape, still photography or otherwise) my voice, appearance

and name, and to exhibit, distribute, transmit, and/or otherwise exploit any and all media, including without limitation, by means of still

photography, motion pictures, radio, television, television motion pictures, video, printing on digital or any other medium now known or hereafter

devised, including with respect also to any merchandising, advertising and/or publicity, and the right to use my name and information about me in

any connection with any of the foregoing. The rights granted by me hereunder are granted for the entire universe and shall endure in perpetuity

and no further compensation shall be payable to me at any time in connection therewith. Nothing contained herein shall be deemed to obligate

the NPC, Promoter, and/or any other NPC -approved video or entertainment organization, to photograph or otherwise reproduce my voice,

appearance or name, or to make use of any rights granted herein. I also understand that the aforementioned rights may be reassigned at any time

without further consent. I understand that the NPC, the Promoter and/or any NPC-approved video or entertainment organization, are videotaping

and photographing the Event in express reliance upon the foregoing, and I represent and agree that I am free to grant the rights granted to the

NPC, Promoter and/or any other NPC-approved video or entertainment organization hereunder. I HAVE READ THIS RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND

ASSUMPTION OF RISK AGREEMENT, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, UNDERSTAND THAT I HAVE GIVE UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS BY SIGNING IT,

AND SIGN IT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY WITHOUT ANY INDUCEMENT.
