After encouragement from our Fulbright language teaching assistant (FLTA) to apply, Kevin Corcoran ‘19 has received an Ireland-United States Commission for Educational Exchange’s Gaeltacht Summer Award for 2016. This award will allow him to visit Ireland for an immersive experience studying the Irish language in the country’s Gaeltacht regions.

Redefining Excellence We continually integrate the latest technology into teaching and research. Our scenic campus features state-of-the-art classrooms, laboratories and enhanced facilities for student life.

The Center for Natural and Health Sciences

This five-story, 22,000 square-foot state-of-the-art facility was designed to encourage new collaborations among academic disciplines. It is home to eight laboratories, plus research, clinical and classroom space for programs in biology, chemistry, and nursing.

A Global ViewWe’re a community that takes action to make the world a better place. From your first semester to your last, you can put your faith into action through service-learning programs. In addition to local partnerships, the College organizes weeklong service trips to destinations in the U.S. and abroad.

Welcome HomeWhether you live in one of our residence halls or commute, you’ll be a part of a friendly, energetic community. Each semester, Elms’ calendar is filled with cultural and social events. You can get involved with our many student-run organizations, clubs, or intramural sports.

Our campus is located in suburban Chicopee, Massachusetts, filled with a rich cultural history. We’re just 2 miles north of Springfield, 90 minutes to Boston, and 2.5 hours to New York City. We’re also in easy reach of the Basketball Hall of Fame, Six Flags New England, and the Springfield Museums.

Making College AffordableElms wants to make this private college experience affordable for you. In fact, coming here often costs less than attending a public institution. That’s because of generous financial aid packages including grants, scholarships, and loans. Last year, the average award was $32,386.

More than 90 percent of our students receive some form of financial aid. The Office of Financial Aid will work with you and your family to determine your eligibility.
