Biographical Summary Ahmad S. Okasha, Technology Consultant, SE, AP, SBA A Business and Technology professional, with 25 years of experience as a hardware engineer, systems engineer, analyst programmer, senior business analyst, IBM' instructor and knowledge expert, all within the IT and software development and testing fields. Starting end of 2010 till now, Ahmed has been dedicating all of his technical background to serve his own company's customers as an external consultant especially new setups and on-job training. Since March 2008, Ahmed Okasha joined SQS Software Quality Systems as an Expert in his field. He joined the Off-Shore task force from day 1 to realize a very aggressive expansion plan for SQS to have an Off-Shore Competence Centre in Egypt. His loyalty and reliability have enabled him not only to obtain SQS’ Management team trust but also SQS’s customer-base in Switzerland, very rapidly and till now. In 2005 Ahmed Okasha joined Equant, now part of Orange Business Services, a global telecommunication solutions provider, to support its German-Speaking global customers Service Centre. Ahmed‘s heads a specialist team of 5 staff, whose role is to ensure that the German desk, which comprises 26 members working 24/7, receives full technical support and has the know-how for Cisco routers and networks. During this period he was in charge of the implementation and customisation of Equant’s version of ITIL system tools and procedures for the Cairo operation. Following the sale of Citymax Egypt to EDS, Ahmed founded, with a number of partners, AsserAG Knowledge Systems, a state-of- the-art independent software vendor, and was its first General Manager between 1997 and 2004. Besides being engaged in day to day activities of the company, he was responsible for the implementation of the partners’ long-term vision, and had a major role in increasing the revenues of AsserAG through the implementation of its annual business plans. Most of AsserAG’s Customers are SMEs in both the Egyptian, Arabian and German markets, and the company continues to have a strong presence in its markets of operation. On moving to Orange, the partners requested that Ahmed remains as a silent partner and investor. Ahmed joined Citymax in early 1995 as a Senior Analyst Programmer. He underwent intensive training that covered financial- accounting, banking operations, operating systems, databases and technical tools for Digital Servers and IBM. Mainframe systems. He then led a 5 person team to design and build an export finance system for a Swiss client. As a designer, he was responsible for an early development of client server architecture; addressing the customer business needs and designing both the front GUI-based part of the system as well as the back office processing engine. Following his promotion in 1996, Ahmed was appointed to lead a major project addressing Asset Allocation for customers of Credit Suisse Trust bank in Tokyo, once again delivered to high praise by the customer, in time and within budget. Following an internal engagement to re-engineer the Citymax own processes, he became involved in a major project spanning the whole Citymax Group in the UK, Egypt and the US that finally led, in 1997, to the Company achieving full ISO 9001 UK TickIT certification. Ahmed was then appointed as the local Quality Manager for Citymax Egypt. He managed the 3-yearly external audit for reassessment of the company successfully and the certification was renewed to August 2000. Between 1990 and 1994, Ahmed worked for an IBM-Business Partner located in Stuttgart. His main responsibilities were training for International students drawn up from Germany, Turkey, and Yugoslavia on the use of IBM AS/400 management and development tool. He also provided project support and training for internal staff and external customers on the connectivity between AS/400 & other IBM machines including IBM mainframes and other offerings. He led an 18 month project with Rudolf Sophien Stift, a large rehabilitation hospital in Stuttgart, to deliver a complete implementation of an AS/400 networked installation with 250 work stations. On completing his Engineering degree, Ahmed worked between 1987 and 1990 for an IBM-Business Partner located in Cairo, and was assigned for most of this period for a project with for General Motors Egypt as a Systems Engineer. His main responsibilities were designing & implementing of complete applications on IBM System 36 and later on AS/400 machines. He led a 10 man-months project with IDSC-ITI in Cairo, a Government sponsored IT training facility for graduates wishing to move to the IT industry. The project was to localise, adapt and implement a complete series of courses, originally developed in Germany, for the IBM AS/400, just released at the time. Ahmed Okasha holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Ain Shams University (1987); a Vor-Diplom in Informtik from the University of Stuttgart, 1992; and also got the post graduate diploma at Computer Science at Ain Shams University in the field of Data Mining using multi agents’ technique. A Business and Technology professional, with 25 years of experience as a hardware engineer,

systems engineer, analyst programmer, senior business analyst, IBM' instructor and knowledge

1. Being worked with German colleagues & managers between 1990 & 1995, and with Swiss

colleague between 2008 & 2010, Okasha got the disciplined & quality attitude. Also he got

acquainted with zero-error projects management style by Swiss financial institutions.

2. Back to Egypt, Ahmed Okasha had designed, implemented & conducted the complete

AS/400 courses under the supervision of IBM-Egypt to deliver them as solution to one of

their customers that time, namely IDSC-Egypt (Information & Decision Support Center of

Egyptian prime ministry). @ this stage between 1996 & 2005, engineer Ahmed Okasha

mastered both of AS/400 complex environments operationally & technically.

3. Starting his own independent software vendor firm, Okasha was & still able to deliver a

structured, integrated solutions for managing complex ERP systems on AS/400 machines

for his clients such as Egyptian SME’s and factories. Those solutions include but not

exclusive :

a. Analysis, design, implementation of sub systems to be integrated with existing ERP

systems at customer fields.

i. Automotive Industry by General Motors – Egypt. 1990

ii. Software House by IBM authorized dealer in Germany – CALW.-1995

iii. MRP & ERP by different Egyptian SME’s. 2005-2015

iv. Financial Applications by Telekurs (a.k.a SIX Card Solutions) in

Zurich.2008-2010.

b. Maintaining of already tailored applications owned by customers.

c. Creating complete AS/400 application as a solution for some customers needs.
