6/17 Rose Tree Pops & Westminster Presbyterian Choir Orchestra and 90-member choir performing music from American composers, including Copland, Gould, Bernstein and Rutter. 6/18 Charlie Gracie Rock ‘n’ Roll pioneer and Bandstand icon still wows audiences in the U.S. and Europe with hits such as “Butterfly,” “Faabulous” and “Wandering’ Eyes” and more. 6/19 James Day & the Fish Fry Southern artist James Day backed by stellar musicians playing New Orleans music that will make you tap your feet. Groovin’ group has two CDs on the Vizztone label. 6/20 Eaglemania: World’s Greatest Eagles Tribute Band Thrilling audiences with stunning five part harmonies and uncanny ability to emulate The Eagles. All of the band’s greatest hits plus the best solo work of Henley, Frey and Walsh. 6/21 Chico’s Vibe Feel the Vibe! This nine-piece orchestra with a four-man groovin’ horn section is the area’s premiere event band, playing the best hit party music from the ‘60s to present. 6/24 Peter Moses 10:00 a.m. Super-fun music and movement for children. Singalongs, silliness & more! Chester County Concert Band at 7:30 p.m. Broadway show tunes, classics, Big Band, marches. 6/25 Eric Mintel Quartet From the White House, Kennedy Center, the UN and beyond, this electrifying quartet has performed for groups of all ages. Melodic and energetic jazz. 6/26 Wojamm & Shiron Denise Don’t miss the magical combination of this cool, jazzy contemporary R&B trumpeter/pianist paired with a soulfully enchanting songstress with a velvet voice. 6/27 Philbilly: All Country All the Time Modern country that Rocks! Phil- billy’s incredible talent and energy packs the house and dance floor for every performance. Don’t miss Philly’s answer to country music. 6/28 Live at the Fillmore This definitive tribute to the Allman Brothers Band performs the legendary live album “At Fillmore East” in its entirety plus other popular Allman Brothers songs. 7/1 Sensational Soul Cruisers Soultown beyond Motown: This 11- man horn group fronted by four soulful vocalists pays homage and tribute to classic soul, R & B, Motown and disco. 7/2 Upper Darby Sousa Band One of the nation’s finest community bands playing the music of John Phillip Sousa and American composers. Guest conductor is Joe Smith from the Philly Pops. 7/3 Steve Pullara & His Cool Beans Band 10:00 a.m. Grammy winner Steve Pullara brings his zany melodic adventure to kids of all ages. His fun-filled songs have great themes like penguins, pizza, aliens and grandma. 7/4 Fourth of July Holiday 7/5 John Hoey Orchestra A tribute to the Big Band music of the WWII era. Take a trip down memory lane with the hit parade songs of Glenn Miller, Artie Shaw, Benny Goodman, Woody Herman, and more! 7/8 RK$TDY: Ska & Reggae A fun evening of reggae and Jamaican jazz, commonly known as ska music. Let the sounds of the islands enchant your dancing feet. 7/9 Melissa Martin & the Mighty Rhythm Kings Melissa’s soulful voice, firecracker drumming, hard thumping bass, guitar and boogie woogie piano all combine to form high-energy swingin’ dance grooves and jump blues. 7/10 Jimmy & the Parrots Grab a beach chair and parrot hat for a musical trip to Margaritaville! Includes faves by Jimmy Buffett, Bob Marley, the Beach Boys, Harry Belefonte and Zac Brown. YeaMon! 7/11 Philadelphia Songwriters Project: 2015 Winners Tour Support local up-and-coming artists! This non-profit arts and education organization showcases talented area songwriters. The four winners of its 2015 contest each perform. 7/12 Weird Science: The Ultimate ‘80s Experiment Top-notch musicians & male and female vocalists, the show features costumes, contests, and the most popular songs of the ‘80s. It’s totally awesome, dude! 7/15 Spirit Wing presents “Welcome to Our Fire” Contemporary Native American band performs beautiful original and traditional Eastern Woodland songs with native flute, guitars and drums. Six-time nominee for Native American Music Award. 7/16 Merion Concert Band The Merion Concert Band presents contemporary and classical concert band repertoire in a variety of styles. Nathan P. Snyder, Conductor. 7/17 East Coast Rivieras & the Riviera Horns Fantastic dance/showband plays a variety of crowd pleasers from the ‘60s to present. This group is popular in the tri-state area, playing at many casinos and festivals. 7/18 Upper Darby Summer Stage Shooting Stars The Shooting Stars presents an eve- ning of Broadway, pop, and Disney music performed in a high-energy song and dance style. Also featuring their cast of Mary Poppins. 7/19 The Original Orlons Philly’s own from Cameo Records had four Top Ten hits in the ‘60s - “South Street,”“Not Me,”“The Wah Watusi,” and “Don’t Hang Up.” Special Guest host D.J. Steve Kurtz. 7/22 Bryn Mawr Mainliners Award-winning Barbershop chorus and quartets. Ever-changing repertoire features an assortment of family- friendly renditions of songs from past and present. 7/23 Americana with The Obsoleets Family Band With a catalog reaching across three centuries and an exciting slew of acoustic instruments, The Obsoleets reinterpret Americana for all people. 7/24 The Cat’s Pajamas Join the Cats in celebrating 25 years of being cool! They bring a musical comedy twist to high-octane kid rock, backed by a band guaranteed to delight all ages. 7/25 Pennsylvania Symphonic Winds Premiere wind ensemble of local musicians, both professional and dedicated amateurs, who share a passion to create exceptional perfor- mances, diverse repertoire. 7/26 Lonnie Shields Band & Jesse Loewy Band An evening of Soulful Blues, R&B, & Funk. Don’t miss this double dose of the blues with Lonnie Shields, known as the Keeper of the Blues, and 16-year-old guitarist Jesse Loewy. 7/29 22 Park Avenue Paying homage to the best of the best, this swinging seventeen-piece band plays classic arrangements from the Great American Songbook and delights music lovers of all ages. 7/30 Brazilian Bossa Nova The Minas Sextet will perform Bossa Nova classics from its recent CD “Symphony in Bossa” as well as original selections from its previous five-CD collections. 7/31 Brandywine Ballet Brandywine Ballet performs a mixture of classical and contempo- rary repertoire, featuring selections from Resident Choreographer Nancy Page’s Requiem. 8/1 Separate Ways The Band featuring Dan Gagliano It’s Worth the Journey! This amazing tribute to the music of Journey features five masterful musicians por- traying the band’s mid-80s line-up and greatest hits. 8/2 First Ladies of Rock & Soul Radio personality Steve Kurtz hosts this fab 13-piece band. Four female vocalists performs smash hits from the ‘60s, when “girl groups” ruled the airwaves and packed dance floors. 8/5 Zydeco-A-Go-Go Creole, Zydeco and Cajun two-steps combine with funky New Orleans R&B and vintage Louisiana rock ‘n’ roll into a spicy gumbo of irrestible dance music. “Laissez Les Bon Temps!” 8/6 The Volunteers The Soldier-Musicians of The Volunteers tell the story of the United States Army through rock, pop, country, and patriotic music. A hit with all ages, they perform more than 100 shows each year. 8/7 Field of Play Lots of energy from this five-piece band, playing your favorite songs from the ‘60s through today. All rock and pop that will have you singing and dancing in your seats. 8/8 Real Diamond The nation’s premiere Neil Diamond Tribute band brings the legend to you! Greatest hits from the ‘60s, ‘70s, & ‘80s: “America,”“Song Sung Blue,”“Sweet Caroline,” and many more. 8/9 The Plants Catchy, creative music for the young and young at heart. Fun lyrics bring you into a world with intergalactic in- sects, and a snake who wears flip-flops and a “monster” under the bed. 8/12 FuseBox “Electrify” your night with one of the area’s best classic and modern rock cover bands. The greatest music of all time from Elvis, Motown, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and many more. 8/13 Blackthorn This Philly favorite is a modern Celtic rock band that celebrates its Irish roots with a contemporary style all its own. Opening act: acoustic set by the Two Morans at 7:00. 8/14 British Invasion Tribute More than The Beatles, this nos- talgic concert spans the entire ‘60s British Invasion era with songs by The Zombies, Dave Clark Five, The Rolling Stones, Herman’s Hermits, The Moody Blues and more. 8/15 Penn Chinese Dance Club “Colorburst” Beautiful dances bursting with color, featuring long sleeve and fan dances, diverse folk and ethnic styles. Talented team of choreographers includes graduates from Beijing Dance Academy. 8/16 The Core: Eric Clapton Tribute In celebration of his 70th birthday, The Core performs an electric and acoustic tribute to the guitar legend known as “Slowhand.” Features all his greatest hit music from his 45- year career in bands and solo.
