We’re members of an engaging and supportive cycling

community. We’re blessed. We have our health. We

care and we want to help.

Breast cancer touches everyone. Here are the stories

of two exceptional women who inspired our 2015

Verde Collection.

Filomena will always be my inspiration. She was

beautiful, brilliant and bohemian. She was my mother.

Breast cancer took her shortly after I graduated

college. She loved Portuguese Bend and the way its

rolling fields turned green in the spring. My children

never met her but they extend her legacy. My son

Philip “Philly” is named in her honor. My daughter

Claire “C’bella” looks just like her.

Darcy was full of energy and creativity. She was artistic,

athletic and alluring. She was a talented clothing

designer and an avid snow and water skier. She was

my Sister-in Law. Breast cancer took her far too soon

at the age of 39. My daughter “Olivia Darcy” an

up-and-coming opera singer is named after her.

These are the inspirations for our 2015 PVGC designs

and our support of Susan G. Komen. We can help.

We can promote awareness. We can get involved.

We can donate.
