Vector World is leading the high-end powerboat and performance yacht industry on a brave new trajectory putting the ultimate combination of power and craftsmanship into the hands, also hearts, of the owners, participants and followers of their awe-inspiring powerboats and performance yachts.

PROVEN MARINE PERFORMANCE

Similar to a current Formula 1 racing team, Vector works with the world’s best shipyards to design and manufacture their boats. Instantly recognisable by their sharp silhouettes, sleek contours, carbon construction and race-driven designs, the Vector brand is as worthy of its place in the world’s most exclusive ports, and the most prestigious open water endurance racing events: a fact embodied in the Vector Martini Racing Team.

A PIONEERING APPROACH

Always striving to push the boundaries, Vector founders - media entrepreneur Malcolm Crease and world-renowned powerboat pilot Peter Dredge - have taken the marine industry to a whole new level. Proven manufacturing quality and performance are combined with a ground-breaking multimedia and brand marketing platform, offering unrivalled and breathtaking access to the highest level of marine motorsport for the first time in decades.

UNPARALLELED EXPERIENCE

Through its unique and innovative iRace and iRace-Pro platforms, both companies and individuals are able to personally experience Vector’s top-of-the-range V40R powerboat, at speeds of over 100mph. The iRace programme is led by Peter Dredge and supported by a multiple World Championship winning team who, between them, have covered many thousands of miles of competitive endurance racing and still retain 15 World Endurance Records.

Alongside Vector iRace, the company is also developing a number of media and content platforms around the versatile V40R including a new reality television show, a feature film franchise and even a 1-Class design endurance racing series launching in the Asia Pacific region. The new powerboats will be fitted with bespoke design and cutting-edge audio visual technology, so even land-based supporters can for the first time enjoy an unsurpassed racing experience.

A race boat of superior design and record-breaking firsts

The official powerboat of the Vector Martini race team, the V40R is the eye-catching ambassador of the Vector range, and a prime example of the way in which recent advances in technology have radically improved both design and performance.

RACE THROUGH TIME

In 2005, Vector created the V28R, modelled on the legendary B28 ‘Bat Boat’ designed by Ocke Mannerfelt. The original Bat Boat was so fast that it was temporarily banned from competition following too many victories. Vector instantly recognised a record-breaker on the horizon, and its development team set to work.

In 2010, Vector unveiled the V40R: a bigger, faster and safer boat race boat which was soon followed by a successful retail version, the V40GT. An undisputed queen of the seas, the next generation V40R was destined to become the Vector Martini Racing version being used today throughout the entire Vector platform.

HERE AND NOW

Despite the rise in amateur powerboat racing, elite racing models such as Vector’s V40R are reserved for the very best, skilled and professional drivers; much like Formula 1 cars. Ground-breaking technology has enhanced both speed and safety, heightening the experience of all who get the rare chance to travel on board.

The V40R is rigged with a bespoke state-of-the-art camera system to capture the Vector Martini Team’s epic feats in broadcast quality, proving beyond all doubt that this is truly a power boating force to be reckoned with. And if anyone is left in any doubt whatsoever, there is the unique opportunity for sponsor-partners now to step aboard and experience it for themselves.

Martini Racing, one of the most iconic names in world motorsport, has recently been catapulted back into the spotlight after a 25 year absence from competitive racing. The Italian superbrand was lured back onto the water through a unique naming rights partnership with the newly-formed Vector Offshore Racing Team, now renamed Vector Martini Racing.

A WELCOME RETURN

Martini boasts a rich heritage in the powerboat industry but the Vector Martini Racing Team will be the first British team in history to carry the distinguished blue and red racing stripes. With a self-assured desire for victory, Martini is a playful and confident brand leader, perfectly at home in the adrenaline-fuelled world of racing and powerboats which sits alongside its recent high-profile partnership with the Williams Formula 1 Team.

THE MARTINI RACING REVIVAL

The new team was unveiled at the Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix in April 2014, a bold statement which left powerboat experts and admirers alike in no doubt as to where this team would be pitched competitively. Its launch event was supported by the Williams Martini Racing Formula 1 team which included both Felipe Massa and Valtteri Bottas driving the V40R, followed by a series of localised iRace activations at Formula 1 weekends which drew admiring crowds at circuits all over the world.

RECORD-BREAKING TEAM

The powerful combination of Vector’s expertise and Martini’s internationally recognised branding have undoubtedly initiated new global interest powerboat racing, with over 420,000 people from around the world now following the Team’s Facebook page in the first year. This new audience will witness, first-hand and for the first time, the team’s unique attempts in 2015 and beyond to set and break numerous World Endurance Records around the globe, taking this rarely seen platform to new and emerging markets.

THE VECTOR IRACE PROGRAMME

The Vector Martini V40R powerboat has been designed in a 2 + 2 closed-canopy configuration to allow passengers to travel at high speed in the boat. The Vector iRace programme is a unique experience platform provided to team sponsors, where selected guests and journalists are given the opportunity to safely experience speeds of up to 100mph on the open water in a controlled environment. Vector is the only team in the

world currently able to offer such a programme which last year carried over 200 corporate guests in locations such as Monaco and Lake Como.

THE VECTOR IRACE-PRO PROGRAMME

In addition to the iRace Programme, Vector has assembled a team of very high-profile media and sports professionals who will all be trained and qualify as powerboat racing pilots. Each will then embark as a Qualified Crew Member in one of the 10 World Endurance Records scheduled over the next 2 years, being filmed for television as a new adventure reality TV show for a major international broadcasting network.
