The Family

Jennifer is working hard taking care of visiting missionaries…arranging food travel and all the incidentals. She’s also prospering in her relationships with the women from Mango. William is fully engaged in his high school studies, working occasionally at the hospital and helping his brothers and others with their studies. Grant, like William, is working hard in school and works part-time in the lab. Luke Is doing well in school and scurries to the pharmacy to work when he is free. Drew and his band of missionary friends are doing great and bring joy to many.

Our Plans

Our next trip to the States will likely be in the summer 2017. The need to cover and lead in the surgical department is keeping us put. (no problem, we love here!) The next career surgical family is the Nattiers. If all goes well, they should arrive in the early summer of 2017. Please pray as well for the Paulicks, another surgical family, we are praying that they would arrive to Togo by January of 2018.

We are so grateful to have seen many of you when we were home last year…and it will be a great joy to see all of you again in 2017. We really do love the medical ministry that God has called us to in Mango, Togo. God is blessing in amazing ways.

Our incredibly talented international staff, consisting of vital short-term and long-term

medical missionaries, continues to deliver compassionate health care in Christ’s name to

the myriad of ethnicities in this region. We work long hours with the joy and strength that

God gives us. Please pray that God sustains us according to His strength, because we often feel weak.

Please pray for a man who lost his foot in a pedestrian vs truck accident, for a 6 month old

who endured a thoracotomy for a lung abscess, for a prominent man in town with a

surgically repaired femur and jaw, and for a boy with epilepsy who fell into a fire burning

his hand to the extent of needing an amputation. Pray also for another young boy who has

suffered a below knee amputation for severe osteomyelitis, for a lady recovering after the

removal of a 20 pound ovarian cyst, and for multiple ladies who are having hysterectomies

for incredibly enlarged fibroid tumors. *All the patients get prayed over, watch the Jesus

Film and are offered a chance to know that the God who created them, loves them and

desires to have a true relationship with them! Our greatest prayer request is that God

would move in the hearts of patients convicting them of their need for Him!

• We are urgently searching for an RN who can run our recovery room in the mornings, manage our OR techs and help keep track of key inventory.

• Pray that God would also give us a lab technologist to facilitate further training, expertise

and coverage in the lab.

• We have an urgent need for medical doctors/PA-C/FNP for November and December of 2015. Medical and surgical coverage is needed for all of 2016.

If you or someone you know has felt the leading of God to fill a vital role in a missions

hospital that is making a difference…with a dedicated and supportive staff, I would love to

talk with you or that person through email at [email protected].

Thank you for taking the time to read and pray through this note.
