For example, the Ford F-Series pickups require a 5W-20 motor oil equivalent to MotorCraft — a synthetic blend, and specialty, motor oil. Chevrolet Silverado pickups require dexos, either a 0W-20 or 5W-30 weight, depend-ing on the engine type — again another specialty motor oil.
