    HOWARD LINCOLNChairman & Chief Executive Ofcer

    A key player in the formation of the ownership group that saved the Mariners forSeattle in 1992, Howard Lincoln was named Chairman and Chief Executive Ofceron Sept. 27, 1999.

    On Feb. 14, 2000 Lincoln retired from his position as chairman of Nintendo of Amer-ica, Inc. to devote his full efforts to the Mariners. Lincoln joined Nintendo as its seniorvice president and general counsel in January 1983. In February 1994, he was electedto the board of Nintendo of America, Inc. and appointed chairman of the company.

    Philanthropy plays an important role in Lincolns life. In addition to his strong support of the Mariners CareFoundation, he is a former chairman of the Childrens Hospital Foundation. He was the Campaign Chair ofUnited Way of King Countys 2003/04 Annual Campaign. Lincoln is a board member of The WashingtonRoundtable.

    Lincoln is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley, and holds a law degree from BoaltHall, the University of California School of Law. Following graduation from law school, Lincoln served asa Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy Judge Advocate Generals Corps from 1966 to 1970. He practiced law inSeattle from 1970 to 1983. He and his wife, Grace, reside on Mercer Island. Their son, Brad, and his wife,Kim, have two children: Ethan and Benjamin.

    KEVIN MATHERPresident & Chief Operating Ofcer

    Kevin Mather was named Seattle Mariners President and COO effective Feb. 1,2014. He succeeded Chuck Armstrong, who held that position for 28 years.

    Mather joined the Mariners in 1996 as the Vice President of Finance and Ad-ministration. He was promoted to Executive Vice President of Finance and Ball-park Operations in 1999, where he was responsible for oversight of the Marinersaccounting and nancial reporting, ticket services, procurement, technology ser-vices, concessions and day-to-day operations of Safeco Field. He also oversaw

    the Mariners ve retail locations, as well as non-baseball events held at the ballpark.During his time with the Mariners, Mather has worked closely with executives and members of the own-ership group who serve on key Major League Baseball committees and address issues of league-wideconcern including nance & compensation, MLBs long-term investment fund and insurance coverages.

    Prior to the Mariners, Mather worked for the Minnesota Twins from 1989-1996 where he served asDirector and then Vice President of Finance. Before his career in baseball, Mather was with the CertiedPublic Accounting rm of Deloitte, Haskins & Sells for four years, and The Bellfonte Company of Min-neapolis for one year.

    Mather, 51, grew up listening to Bob Uecker as a Milwaukee Brewers fan in Madison, Wisconsin. Heis a 1984 graduate of the University of Wisconsin where he received his B.A. degree in accounting andrisk/insurance. He is on the Executive Board of Junior Achievement of Washington. His hobbies includegolf, baseball, the Green Bay Packers, and his family and his two dogs. He and his wife Shannon live inIssaquah with their three sons: J.P., David and Steven .

    JOHN ELLISChairman Emeritus

    A life-long resident of the Seattle area, John Ellis led the efforts to keep MajorLeague Baseball in the Pacic Northwest. Upon transfer of the Mariners franchiseto the new ownership group, Ellis became its rst chairman and CEO, serving fromJune 29, 1992 until September 27, 1999, when he was named Chairman Emeritus.Ellis continues as a member of the Mariners Board of Directors.

    During the seven full seasons of his tenure, the Mariners only nished below .500once, while winning two Division titles and narrowly missing a third. Community and

    fan support improved enormously attendance grew from 1,651,398 in 1992 to 3,507,975 in 2001. The great-est accomplishment under his leadership was the construction of our world-class ballpark, Safeco Field.

    In June 1999, Ellis was unanimously elected to the MLB Executive Council. Hes currently a memberof the International, Ownership and Compensation & Finance Committees of MLB and chair of the BELPII Committee. John started his career as a lawyer with Perkins Coie in 1953 (where he is now of counsel).He then joined Puget Sound Power & Light Company (now Puget Sound Energy) in 1970, where he servedvariously as President, C.E.O. and Chairman until his retirement in 1993. During his utility career he servednationally as Chair of the Edison Electric Institute, and the Electric Power Research Institute. Althougha loyal Husky, he was also Chair of the Board of Regents of Washington State University and SeattleUniversity, uniquely at the same time. He and his wife, Doris, have 4 children and 8 grandchildren allMariners fans.

    JACK ZDURIENCIK Executive Vice President & General Manager,Baseball Operations

    Jack Zduriencik (zur-EN-sik) was namedas the eighth General Manager in SeattleMariners history after being hired on Oct.22, 2008. Entering his sixth year, he is thesecond-longest serving GM in team history.

    In his rst year on the job, he re- orga-nized the Mariners Baseball Operations, Scouting and Player De-velopment staffs, added talent to both the Major League and minorleague rosters and hired a new manager and coaching staff allresulting in the Mariners vaulting from 61 wins in 2008 to 85 winsin 2009. He was recognized for his accomplishments with the Andrew Rube Foster Legacy Award fromthe Negro Leagues Baseball Museum recognizing the Executive of the Year.

    His rst trade with the Mariners was a three-team, 12-player deal in which Seattle acquired seven play-

    ers from the New York Mets and Cleveland Indians, including then starting center elder Franklin Gutierrez.His moves since that rst trade were all built around his goal of accumulating talent in the MarinersMajor League and minor league system. In 2010, eight of the Mariners nine minor league afliatesadvanced to post-season play, a concrete example of the improved talent level in the organization.

    In recent seasons, players drafted and developed by Seattle have begun arriving in the Majors creat-ing a young, talented big league core. This success has allowed Seattle to sign Felix Hernandez andRobinson Cano to long-term deals.

    Zduriencik spent nine seasons with the Milwaukee Brewers (1999-2008). He was promoted to VicePresident Special Assistant to the General Manager for Player Personnel on Jan. 15, 2008. He spent theprevious two years (2006-2007) as Special Assistant to the GM/Director of Amateur Scouting after beinghired by the Brewers as Director of Scouting on Oct. 25, 1999.

    He is credited with helping to re-stock the Brewers minor league system with talent through the draft.

    Following the 2007 season, Zduriencik was named Executive of the Year by Baseball America , becom-ing the rst non-GM to ever win the award.

    A 31-year veteran in Major League Baseball, Zduriencik worked with four MLB organizations prior to joining the Mariners. In addition to the Brewers, Zduriencik was Director of International Scouting & Spe-cial Assistant to the GM for the LA Dodgers in 1999. Zduriencik spent two stints with the New York Mets,beginning his career in New York as an area scout (1983-89), scouting crosschecker (1990, 1994-95),Minor League Operations Director (1996-97) and Special Assistant to the GM (1998). He also worked asthe Mets Advance Scout during its playoff runs in 1986 and 1988. Between stints in New York, Zduriencikwas Director of Scouting for the Pittsburgh Pirates from 1991-93.

    Prior to beginning his work in Major League Baseball, Zduriencik coached football and baseball atClairton High School in Pittsburgh from 1977-80 and at Tarpon Springs High School in Florida from 1980-82. He coached football and baseball at the collegiate level at Austin Peay State University (Clarksville,TN) from 1975-77.

    Jack and his wife, Debbie, reside in Bellevue. They have one adult daughter, Kimberly, who is a nursein Pittsburgh. Zduriencik has a bachelors degree in education from Cal-State Pennsylvania and a mastersdegree in physical education from Austin Peay State University. He also attended Middle Georgia JC. Jackis a member of the Pennsylvania American Legion Hall of Fame and the Lawrence County (PA) Hall of Fame.

    JEFF KINGSTON Assistant General Manager

    Jeff Kingston is entering his fth full season with the Mariners after being hiredas Assistant General Manager on Sept. 17, 2009.

    Kingston spent the previous nine seasons working with the San Diego Padres.Jeff assists Jack Zduriencik in all player acquisitions, contract negotiations and

    player evaluations. He is also actively involved with roster, payroll and budget man-agement. He played a key role in the construction of the Mariners new facility inthe Dominican Republic and the remodeled Spring Training complex in Peoria, AZ.

    Jeff was originally hired by the Padres as an intern in the corporate development department in thesummer of 1999. After spending 2000 working for an Internet company, he returned to the Padres in 2001as an Assistant to the Director of Player Development. He was promoted to Director of Baseball Opera-tions in November 2002, a position he held until being hired by the Mariners.

    Kingston and his wife, Carrie, reside in Mercer Island, with their children Cole and Mia.Jeff is a 1999 graduate of Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA, where he earned a degree in economics.

    TED SIMMONSSenior Advisor to the General Manager

    Ted Simmons is in his fourth year with the Mariners organization in 2014. Hespent the previous three seasons as a Major League bench coach with San Diego(2009-2010) and Milwaukee (2008).

    Simmons was a Major League Scout & Assistant to the GM with the Padres from2002 through 2007. He spent three prior seasons (1999-2001) with San Diego asthe Vice President of Baseball Operations.

    Simmons spent six seasons with the Cleveland Indians as a Major LeagueScout and Assistant to the General Manager from 1993-1998.

    Simmons was Senior Vice President & General Manager of the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1992 and 1993.The Pirates won the NL East in 1992. Simmons began his front ofce career immediately after the conclu-sion of his playing career, serving as the Director of Player Development with St. Louis from 1988 to 1991.

    The former switch-hitting catcher played 21 MLB seasons with St. Louis (1968-80), Milwaukee (1981-85) and Atlanta (1986-88). He was an eight-time All-Star, posting a career .285 batting average with 248home runs and 1,389 RBI in 2,456 games. He is fourth all-time in RBI by a switch hitter, trailing only EddieMurray (1,917), Mickey Mantle (1,509) and George Davis (1,437).

    Ted and his wife Maryanne, reside in St. Louis, MO. He graduated from the University of Michigan in1996. His hobbies include collecting contemporary art, and he is an Emeritus member of the Print Com-mittee at the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York.

    Ted and Maryanne have two sons: Jon and Matthew.

    JOE McILVAINESpecial Assistant to the General Manager

    Joe McIlvaine is in his third season with the Mariners after being named to hiscurrent position on Sept. 19, 2011.

    McIlvaine spent the previous 14 seasons with the Minnesota Twins (1998-2011),holding a Special Assistant to the GM title since 2000. With Minnesota he wasinvolved in all facets of scouting, including Major League coverage, minor league

    and amateur. He was also active in the Twins international scouting, especially inthe Dominican Republic.McIlvaine was the New York Mets Executive Vice President of Baseball Operations from July 1993

    thru July 1997. He was the Executive Vice President, Baseball Operations & General Manager of the SanDiego Padres from October 1990 until moving to the Mets in 1993.

    Prior to being hired by the Padres, McIlvaine spent a decade (Nov. 1980-Oct. 1990) with the Mets.He served as Director of Scouting, Assistant Vice President, Director of Player Personnel and later VicePresident, Baseball Operations. From 1984-90, the Mets nished either rst or second, won two NL EastTitles, and the 1986 World Series.

    McIlvaine began his career as a territorial scout for Baltimore from 1974-76. From 1977-78 he scouted theEast Coast, South and Latin America for the California Angels, and from 1979-80 he worked with Milwaukee.

    McIlvaine, who speaks Spanish, graduated with a degree in philosophy and a minor in classics, from

    St. Charles Seminary in Philadelphia. He played ve seasons (1969-73) in the Detroit Tigers minor leaguesystem as a right-handed pitcher.

    ROGER HANSENSpecial Assistant to the General Manager

    Roger Hansen was named to his current position on Sept. 12,2011. Prior to his promotion, he spent the previous 18 years workingin Mariners player development, and an additional three seasons as aplayer in the Mariners minor league system.

    Hansen spent nine seasons (2003-2011) as the Mariners CatchingCoordinator, overseeing catching throughout the Seattle minor league system.

    He was the Mariners bullpen coach in 1992, spending the season asthe youngest coach in the Majors. Roger returned to the Major League coaching staff on Aug. 9, 2010 and remained through the end of the 2010 season as the interim bench coach.

    Roger spent the 1998-2001 seasons as the Major League catching instructor for theOrix Blue Wave organization in Japan.

    Hansen originally signed as the Royals second-round selection in the 1980 June Draft,and spent the final three seasons of his professional career in the Mariners minor leaguesystem. In all, he played nearly 900 minor league games, and was a career .272 hitter.

    Roger, his wife Lynn, and their two children reside in Stanwood, WA. He graduated fromRio Mesa High School in Camarillo, Calif., in 1980.

    KEN MADEJA Special Assistant to the GM - Pro/Amateur Scouting

    Ken Madeja is in his eighth season as a special assistant to the General Manag-er, after spending the previous 20 seasons as a scout in the Mariners organization.He focuses on scouting at all levels, pro, amateur and international. In 2011, he

    took on additional responsibilities as Central Division Supervisor for pro scouting.Madeja began scouting for Seattle in 1988, and has made a specialty of scout-ing and signing Major League quality pitchers, including J.J. Putz, Derek Lowe,Matt Mantei and Matt Thornton, among others. He was promoted to Midwest Co-

    ordinator on Nov. 3, 2005 after serving as an area scout in the Midwest.Prior to joining the Mariners organization, Madeja was a scout with Detroit for 10 years, where he

    scouted and signed John Smoltz, Scott Aldred, Chris Hoiles and others. He has signed 16 big leagueplayers. Madeja was named the Mariners Scout of the Year in 2003.

    Madeja played at Wayne State University in Detroit from 1971-74, where he set 10 school hitting re-cords. He is a member of the Wayne State Hall of Fame. He graduated in 1975.

    He resides in Novi, MI, with his wife Deborah. They have two children, Mark and Lauren, and threegrandchildren.

    PETE VUCKOVICHSpecial Assistant to the General Manager

    Pete Vuckovich (voo-koh-vich) is in his third season with the Mariners, after be-ing named to his current position on Sept. 16, 2011.

    Vuckovich returned to his role of Special Assistant to the General Manager withPittsburgh in 2001, a position he kept under three different General Managers.

    He was the Pirates Major League pitching coach for four seasons from 1997-2000. Pete spent two seasons (1994-95) as a Special Assistant to the GM in Pitts-burgh and was promoted to Assistant GM/Director of Player Personnel for the

    Pirates in 1996. He originally joined the Pirates organization as their minor league pitching coordinator in1992, a post he held through the 1993 season.

    Pete worked as an analyst on Milwaukee Brewers telecasts from 1989 to 1991. Vuckovich pitched for 11 seasons in the Major Leagues after being selected by Chicago (AL) in the

    third round of the 1974 June Draft. He appeared in the Majors with the White Sox (1975-76), Toronto(1977), St. Louis (1978-80) and Milwaukee (1981-86). Vuckovich won the American League Cy Young

    Award after posting an 18-6, 3.34 mark in 30 starts with the Brewers in 1982. Vuckovich graduated from Conemaugh Valley (PA) High School where he was a three-sport (football,

    basketball, baseball) star. He played baseball at Clarion (PA) State College where he was all-conferencefor three seasons and NAIA All-American in 1974. He portrayed Yankees rst baseman Clu Heyward inthe motion picture Major League.

    Pete and his wife Anna have three sons: Lazo, Pete Jr. and Damian.

    TOM ALLISONDirector, Professional Scouting

    Tom Allison is in his second season as the Mariners Director of Pro Scoutingafter being hired by Seattle on Sept. 26, 2012. Allison has over 19 years of scout-ing experience.

    Tom spent the previous two seasons (2011-12) as the Midwest Regional Cross-checker in the Boston Red Sox amateur scouting department. Prior to that, hespent four years as the Director of Scouting for the Arizona Diamondbacks (2007-10), where he oversaw several top draft classes, including the 2009 draft that was

    tabbed by Baseball America and ESPN.com as the No. 1 draft in MLB. Allisons extensive scouting background also includes seven seasons as a Regional Scouting Cross-

    checker for the Milwaukee Brewers (2000-06), and 10 years in the New York Mets organization as an AreaScouting Supervisor (1996-99) and Assistant Scouting Director (1995-96). Allison played as an inelderand coached in the Mets minor league system from 1990-94.

    Allison graduated from Chapman University (Orange, CA) with a BA in legal studies. He played collegebaseball at Loyola Marymount University, and was a member of the Lions squad that advanced to the1986 College World Series. A Northwest native, Allison grew up in the Vancouver (WA) area. He currentlyresides in Phoenix, Ariz., with his wife, Katie, and children Lyndi (9) and Teagan (5).

    CHRIS GWYNNDirector, Player Development

    Chris Gwynn is in his third season as the Mariners Director of Player Develop-ment after being hired by Seattle on Nov. 1, 2011, but already in his 30th year ofworking in Major League Baseball.

    In 2013, the Mariners nine minor league afliates were 461-433 (.516), third-bestamong all MLB farm systems. In 2012, Seattle minor league clubs won 496 games,more than any other big league organization.

    Chris was the Director of Player Personnel for San Diego in 2010 and 2011 priorto joining Seattle, capping a 15-year run in the Padres baseball operations department.

    Gwynn worked in scouting for the Padres from 2000-2009, serving as a pro scout (2006-2009), WestCoast crosschecker on amateur players (2003-2005) and as an area supervisor (2000-2002). He spent1997-2000 in the San Diego Padres City Program in Los Angeles, Houston and Atlanta, working to un-cover talent in traditional inner city schools that normally received minimal exposure.

    Gwynn played in the Major Leagues with San Diego (1996), Los Angeles (NL, 1994-95, 1987-91) andKansas City (1992-93) after being a rst-round (10th overall) selection of the Dodgers in the 1985 Draft.

    Chris was a two-time All-American (1984 and 1985) at San Diego State. He set the NCAA single-season record for hits in a season (137) and was a Golden Spikes nalist in 1985.

    Chris and his wife, Jo Ann, are the parents of two adult children: Joshua and Maya.

    TIM KISSNERDirector, International Operations

    Tim Kissner was named Director, International Operations for the Mariners onOct. 29, 2012. He is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Mariners inter-national scouting operation, including all international scouts, and works hand-in-hand with the Mariners Player Development Department once international playersare signed.

    Kissner has over 15 years of scouting experience. He spent the 2011-2012 sea-sons as the Chicago Cubs West Coast crosschecker. He worked for the Philadelphia

    Phillies from 2000-2010, including working as the Pacic Rim coordinator from the end of the 2008 seasonthrough the 2010 season. Kissner had also scouted the Northwest and Southern California for the Phillies.He began his scouting career with the Cleveland Indians as an area scout in 1999-2000.

    Kissner, who resides in Kirkland, WA, played baseball at Oregon State University, where he graduatedin 1994. He is a native of Juneau, Alaska.

    TOM McNAMARA Director, Amateur Scouting

    Tom McNamara was named Director, Amateur Scouting for the Mariners on Nov.10, 2008. He is responsible for overseeing the Mariners amateur scouting opera-tion, including preparation for the June Draft.

    In 2012, the Mariners minor league system, stocked with McNamaras draftpicks, won 496 games, more than any other MLB organization. Players from eachof his rst four drafts have already reached the Majors, including: Dustin Ackley,Nick Franklin & Kyle Seager (2009); James Paxton, Stephen Pryor & Taijuan Walker

    (2010), Carter Capps & Brad Miller (2011) and Mike Zunino (2012).McNamara returned to his baseball roots with the Mariners. He was previously an area scout for the

    Mariners from 1994-2000, covering the Northeast, and signing, among others, Kevin Gryboski and BrianSweeney. McNamara also played one season in the Mariners organization, appearing in 50 games for theBellingham Mariners in 1988.

    McNamara has 18 years of experience as a full-time scout. He spent the 2008 season as the Milwau-kee Brewers East Coast crosschecker. He previously served as a pro scout with the San Diego Padresfor ve seasons (2003-07). As an area scout for the Brewers during the 2001-02 seasons, McNamarascouted and signed three Major Leaguers, including All-Star rst baseman Prince Fielder.

    Following his playing career, McNamara coached at Rockland Community College in Suffern, NY.McNamara, who resides in Seattle, is a Pearl River, NY, native. He attended Dominican College in New

    York and set the NY State College record for stolen bases in a season with 71 in 1988. He is a member ofthe Rockland Community College and Dominican College Athletic Hall of Fame .

    MARINERS MEDICAL STAFFE. Edward Khalfayan, MD, Medical Director

    Dr. Ed Khalfayan has been the Mariners Medical Director and Orthopedic Surgeon since 2006.He specializes in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery. Dr. Khalfayan is a clinical instructor at theUniversity of Washington School of Medicine and is an editorial reviewer for the American Journal ofSports Medicine. He is also the head team physician and has been an orthopedic surgeon for the NFLSeattle Seahawks since 1996. Dr. Khalfayan did his pre-medical education at Boston College, andgraduated from St. Louis University School of Medicine.

    Mitchel Storey, DO, Team PhysicianDr. Mitch Storey has been a Mariners team physician since 1985. He specializes in non-surgical

    treatment of throwing and other sports injuries. Dr. Storey is a founding member of the AmericanMedical Society of Sports Medicine, past president of the American Osteopathic Association ofSports Medicine, and a member of the Professional Baseball Team Physicians Association. Dr. Storeyearned his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

    RON SPELLECY Director, Team Travel

    Ron Spellecy is in his 17th season with the Mariners, after joining the club inDecember 1997. As Director of Team Travel, Spellecy is responsible for planningand implementing all of the clubs travel requirements, travels on every trip and

    is responsible for Seattles spring training camp in Arizona, including the springtraining schedule.Spellecy was previously Executive Director of the Lake Tahoe Visitors Author-

    ity in South Lake Tahoe. Prior to that, he was VP of Sales and Marketing with thePhoenix Convention and Visitors Bureau for eight years (1988-96). Spellecy spent 20 years with WestinHotels, including working at the Westin Seattle from 1982-1988.

    Spellecy, a Spokane, WA, native, graduated from Washington State University with a BA in commu-nications in 1968. He resides in Bellevue, with his wife, Cynthia. He has two adult sons: Sean and Ryan,and three grandchildren.

    KEN GRIFFEY JR.Special Consultant to the Franchise

    In 2011, Ken Griffey Jr. was named Special Consultant to the Franchise as-sisting in numerous areas of the Mariners operations including, but not limited to,Major League Baseball Operations, player development, minor league system,marketing, broadcasting and community relations. In each of the past three springs(2011-2013), he has spent time working with Mariners outelders and minor leagueplayers at Spring Training, a role he will ll again this year.

    Griffey was selected rst overall in the June 1987 draft by the Mariners and lessthan two years later, at age 19, he was in center eld on Opening Night in 1989. He had a 22-year MLBcareer with the Mariners (1989-1999, 2009-2010), Cincinnati (2000-2008) and Chicago-AL (2008).

    Griffey was elected to the Mariners Hall of Fame in 2013, and to the Reds Hall of Fame in 2014. He iseligible to be elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2016.

    Griffey retired from baseball on June 2, 2010. Among his achievements:1997 American League MVP (unanimous selection) and RBI leader; 13-time All-Star; 10-time Gold

    Glove winner; seven-time Silver Slugger winner; four-time American League home run leader; three-timeMLB All-Star Home Run Derby champ; 630 career home runs.

    Griffey is near the top in every offensive category in the Mariners record book including:home runs (1st/417), slugging percentage (2nd/.553), RBI (2nd/1,216), hits (3rd/1,843), doubles

    (2nd/341), total bases (2nd/3,495), runs scored (3rd/1,113), games (3rd/1,685) and at-bats (3rd/6,317).In 1999, he was one of 29 players named to the All-Century Team, a roster of the greatest players at

    each position in the history of MLB.Griffey resides in Orlando, FL, with his wife, Melissa and their three children: Trey, Taryn and Tevin. Trey

    plays college football for the University of Arizona, and Taryn has committed to U. of A. to play basketball.

    BOB AYLWARDExecutive Vice President, Business Operations & Chairman, NW Sports Net LLC

    Bob Aylward was promoted to his current position as Executive Vice President,Business Operations & Chairman, NW Sports Net LLC (the regional sports networkROOT SPORTS NW) on February 1, 2014.

    A veteran of over 38 years in Major League Baseball, Bob Aylward joined theMariners in June 1997 as Vice President of Business and Sales. He was promoted

    to Executive Vice President in December 1999. Aylward is responsible for the Mariners revenue produc-ing efforts, including corporate sponsorships, ticket sales, signage and advertising sales, as well ashaving oversight of the Mariners communications and broadcasting departments. Additionally, he chairsthe board of directors for the Mariners regional sports network. Bob was instrumental in the acquisitionof ROOT SPORTS NW in 2013.

    He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the non-prot organization Washington Global Health Alliance, the Metropolitan Seattle Chamber of Commerce and the Seattle Sports Commission.

    Before the Mariners, Aylward served as business affairs consultant with the Tampa Bay Rays for twoyears, planning and developing the teams marketing, sales and broadcasting. Concurrently, he was alsoPresident of Entertainment, Sports and Facilities Associates, Inc., which specialized in services to sportsteams, broadcasting entities and new facility design.

    Prior to Tampa Bay, he spent 17 years with the Baltimore Orioles, including the last 10 as vice presi-dent of business affairs. Aylward oversaw the Orioles marketing, sales and broadcasting efforts and wasdeeply involved with the architects in the design and construction of Oriole Park at Camden Yards. Hebegan his career with the Orioles in 1976 as an intern in the ticket ofce.

    A native of Pace, MS, Aylward is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and also attended Ohio Univer-sitys graduate program for sports administration.

    Aylward resides in Mercer Island, with his wife, Elizabeth. They have two daughters, Laura and Caitlin.

    BART WALDMANExecutive VP, Legal & Governmental Affairs

    Bart Waldman joined the Mariners front ofce on Jan. 1, 2006. For the prior 13seasons, he served as the Mariners principal outside counsel while a partner at thePerkins Coie law rm in Seattle.

    Bart is responsible for overseeing all of the clubs legal affairs, both in the base-ball and business areas, and he oversees government relations at the federal, stateand local levels and the Mariners relationship with its landlord, the Public FacilitiesDistrict. In addition, the Mariners Human Resources department reports to Wald-man. Bart was instrumental in the negotiations to build Safeco Field and the Mari-

    ners spring training complex in Peoria, AZ, and has contributed to most of the Clubs major business andplayers negotiations since 1992. He serves as a member of the NW Sports Net LLC Board of Managers.Bart was chosen as the 2012 Outstanding Corporate Counsel (small companies) by the Puget Sound

    Business Journal.Waldman joined the Perkins Coie law rm in 1978, where he specialized in sports, and labor and

    employment law. While in private practice, Bart was listed as one of The Best Lawyers in America by thatpublication 14 consecutive years, and as one of Washingtons Superlawyers.

    A native of Connecticut, Bart graduated from Harvard College in 1970, where he played baseball, andreceived his law degree in 1978 from Georgetown University, where he was selected for law review. Heworked as a speech writer, legislative analyst and lobbyist in Washington, DC from 1970-78.

    Bart continues to coach and play adult baseball in the Puget Sound Senior Baseball League, andhas helped pitch local all-star teams to senior league national championships in 7 of the last 9 years.Waldman was elected to the PSSBL Hall of Fame in 2013. He has also served on the governing bodiesof the Downtown Seattle Association and the Seattle Police Foundation.

    Waldman resides in Seattle with his wife, Nancy. They have two daughters, Marcy and Tracy.

    RANDY ADAMACK Senior Vice President, Communications

    Randy Adamack has been with the Mariners for 36 of their 37 seasons. He waspromoted to Sr. Vice President of Communications in January 2013 after servingas Vice President of Communications since September 1990. Adamack directs theclubs broadcasting, public information and public relations efforts, and serves onthe board of ROOT SPORTS NW.

    Randy was honored with the Fishel Award for Public Relations Excellence inDecember 2005. The award goes to the active, non-uniformed representative ofMajor League Baseball whose ethics, character, dedication, service, professional-

    ism and humanitarianism best represent the standards propounded by Robert O. Fishel.In 2001, Adamack organized the local efforts for Major League Baseballs All-Star Week in Seattle.

    Adamack joined the Mariners in 1978 as director of public relations and was promoted to director ofmarketing in 1983. In 1987, he was named senior director of communications.

    A native of Conneaut, OH, Randy served the Cleveland Indians as director of public relations from1975-78. Following his 1973 graduation from Wittenberg University in Springeld, OH, he attended thesports administration graduate program at Ohio University.

    Adamack and his wife, Morgan, live in Seattle. He has a daughter, Elizabeth, and a son, Joe.

    JOE CHARD Vice President, Corporate Business &Community Relations

    Joe Chard is in his 24th season with the Mariners, his 13th since being promot-ed to Vice President of Corporate Business & Community Relations in December2001. Chard oversees the Mariners corporate sponsorship and radio sales, as wellas all aspects of the Mariners community relations efforts.

    Chard was originally hired as Director of Community Relations by the club inSeptember 1990. He was instrumental in establishing Mariners Care, the clubs

    non-prot foundation, which has become a national model. Last season Mariners Care provided over $1million to local charities, thousands of tickets to Mariners games and hundreds of personal visits by play-ers to hospitals, schools and youth organizations throughout the Northwest. Joe was promoted to Direc-

    tor of Corporate Business in 1998, and to Director, Corporate Business & Community Relations in 2000.Prior to joining the Mariners, Chard was Executive Director of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Washington. A Seattle native, Chard graduated from Carroll College in Montana. He resides in Seahurst, Wash.,

    with his wife, LisaJo. He has a daughter, AshLee, and a son, Creed.

    DAVE CURRY Vice President, Information Services

    Dave Curry is in his 17th season with the Mariners, his seventh since being pro-moted to VP, Information Services in December 2007. His responsibilities includeoverseeing all the technology needs for the Mariners facilities, including the dataand phone networks, computers and applications, PBX and IP phone systems, andthe audio and video systems. Curry was originally hir ed in March 1998 as the clubs

    Network Manager to help design and build Safeco Fields technology infrastructureas well as update the Mariners existing computer environment. He was promoted toDirector of Information Services in 2001 and to Senior Director in 2006.

    Prior to joining the Mariners, Dave began his career with AccessOne as a network and sales engineer. A native of Seattle, Dave attended the University of Nevada Reno. He resides in Snoqualmie with his

    wife, Trina, and their two children: daughter Delaney and son Deklan.

    TIM KORNEGAY Vice President, Finance

    Tim Kornegay is in his 20th season with the Mariners, his 10th since being pro-moted to VP, Finance in 2004. His responsibilities include managing the clubs nan-cial reporting, budgeting, banking, tax return and projections. Tim also manages the

    Mariners relationship with Centerplate, Safeco Fields concessionaire, and is respon-sible for the operations of the ticket ofce and parking garage. Kornegay was origi-nally hired in February 1995 as the clubs Director of Strategic Planning as the teamplanned to develop Safeco Field. He was promoted to Controller in 1997.

    Prior to joining the Mariners, Tim worked as a manager in Cooper & Lybrands Convention, Sports andLeisure practice. He was the controller for a private development company in Texas prior to that.

    A native of St. Louis, MO, Tim graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in accounting. He residesin Bellevue with his wife, Beth, and children, Ted and Jane.
