Whether you wish to join us in our adult courses, improve your own personal skill level, celebrate

a special event, introduce your family, friends or send your children to our holiday scheme or just try

Edgbaston WatersportsEdgbaston Watersports, has been associated with outdoor activities on Edgbaston reservoir since the early 1980’s. From these humble beginnings, the centre has now grown into a large and nationally well respected watersports facility. During 2012 the company removed its commercial status and began trading as a not-for-profit business, this means that profits are re-invested into the centre. This shift of company status has allowed us to offer free or highly subsidised sessions to mainly youngsters from within the city who would not have been able to afford to experience adventurous activities.

The number of activities on offer at the centre has grown dramatically over the past few years and we now offer over 15 different activities that include land-based activities as well as water-based ones. We are able to facilitate over 300 people on the site at any one

time and regularly host the watersports elements of international Scout and Guide jamborees.

In terms of future plans, we are keeping these under wraps for now but we can safely say that the next

couple of years will see wider access to watersports for everybody.

If you would like to keep up with developments please visit our website or our facebook page.
