Moroccan-style arches lead us to the Catacombs, a subterraneancrypt from the colonial period, where the bones of 25 thousand colonial-era Limaresidents are entombed.

Housed in a uniquecolonial residence dating back to the XVII century, built on top of a VIII centurypyramid, this fabulous museum includes the exquisite Collection of Peruvian Goldand Silver from the olden days, and the Pre-Hispanic Erotic Art Salon. Its pieces havetoured major world museums. Larco is among only a few museums around the worldopening their vaults to the public, with over 45,000 archaeological pieces that havebeen classified by renowned specialists and scholars.
