Mets Awarded 2013 MLB All-Star Game

Commissioner Selig said: "We are delighted to bring the Midsummer Classic to Citi Field, a wonderful ballpark that has carried on the remarkable National League tradition in New

York City. The Mets will be superb hosts to next summer's greatest sporting event."

Major League Baseball and the New York Mets will hold the 2013 All-Star Game at Citi Field on July 16, 2013. The 2013 All-Star Game will be the 84th Midsummer Classic.

It will mark just the second time that the Mets have hosted the All-Star Game, having also done so at Shea Stadium in 1964.

2012: A Season of Amazin’ Milestones

On the 8,020th game over 50 completed seasons, Johan Santana became the

first Mets pitcher to throw a no-hitter on June 1st, 2012

Santana threw a career-high 134 pitches and struck out eight batters in the historic 8-0 victory over the St. Louis Cardinals at

Citi Field

Knuckleballer RA Dickey had a ridiculous 2012 campaign for the Mets, accomplishing many feats including:

Most strikeouts with 230 since 1992

Most games won with 20 since 1990

He also led the National League in innings, strikeouts, shutouts and quality starts, which

earned him his first All-Star team nod

Third baseman and the face of the Mets, David Wright set many franchise

records, including:

Most hits in team history with 1,426 on September 26th at Citi Field

Also leader in RBIs, Walks and Runs Scored via his 2012 season

He also holds the lead in Doubles and Extra-Base Hits for the Mets

First No-Hitter Twenty-Game Winner Most Hits

In addition, rookie pitcher Matt Harvey set the franchise record for strikeouts (11) for a pitcher making his Major League debut, finishing with a 2.73 ERA (4th best rookie)

Pitcher John Franco, the Mets all-time Saves leader, was inducted into the Mets Hall of Fame in June Citi Field set four attendance records, including on July 3rd with 42,516 And of course, the Mets celebrated its amazin’ fifty years throughout 2012

11/14/12: RA Dickey wins NL Cy Young Award!

RA Dickey completed an inspirational season of Major League baseball by leading the National League in Strikeouts (230), Innings pitched (233.2), Complete games (5) and Shutouts (3). He also finished 2nd in Wins (20) and ERA (2.73).

In addition to these amazin’ stats, RA pitched consecutive one-hitters and was the Mets first 20 game winner in more than two decades. During this stretch he also set a franchise record with 32 2/3 consecutive scoreless innings, later stretching it to 44 2/3 without an earned run.

RA Dickey is only the third member of the New York Mets to win this prestigious award.

This signage is located on the exterior of Citi Field, behind the auxiliary scoreboard in right field. The signs can be seen by traffic on both the Whitestone and the Van Wyck Expressways. Estimated vehicle traffic on Whitestone alone is: 160K vpd = 58.4M vpy.

Auxiliary Scoreboard Signage The auxiliary scoreboard in right field will show current statistics, lineups and other in-game information. The signage associated with the right field scoreboard is double-sided and will be viewed multiple times per game by fans in attendance. The signs can be seen by traffic on both the Whitestone and the Van Wyck Expressways.

Outfield Wall and Façade Signage Your company would receive a highly-visible permanent sign on the Citi Field Outfield

V.I.P. Batting Practice Experience

Your company will have the opportunity to invite executives or clients to Citi Field for a once in a lifetime experience.

Your guests will receive VIP access to the field prior to a Mets regular season home game where they will have the chance to watch both the Mets and the opposing team take batting practice and prepare for that days game. Guests may also have the opportunity to meet players and receive autographs.

Batting Practice Event

Your company will have the opportunity to host thirty (30) people to an exclusive batting practice session at Citi Field. This hour-long session will also include a private reception and the use of a 30-person suite to entertain guests for the game later that day.
