The best time of the year is right around the corner. Youre asking yourself, What time of the year is the besttime of the year? It can be only one season, that is SUMMER, and when its summer its time for CAMP WOOD-MEN. When your campers come to camp, they will be experiencing one of the most positive and influential times oftheir lives. To make sure that the campers have another great year at camp, the director and staff are working hard toensure safety and great new programs.

As always, the American Camp Association (ACA) accredits your camps. The staff we hire will meet and/orexceed the standards put out by the ACA. The staff will have extensive training in all the programs that we offer. They will have special training in CPR, first aid, life guarding, ropes certification, safety, food service, and extra speciatraining in homesickness.

In addition to our on sight training program we implemented a program called expertonlinetraining.com. Thisprogram takes our staff through approximately 35 pre training videos to help ensure their abilities to work with yourchildren. Dont forget about our online pictures and bunk note services through bunk1.com.

I want to take this time to inform you of an issue that has surfaced at camp the last couple of years. The problem is cell phones and digital cameras. Both of these items have caused problems in the past. You will see CampWoodmens policies regarding these issues on our online registration
