Cornice

an ornamental moulding round the wall of a room just below the ceiling.

Formply: for concrete formwork

Plywood: is a product made up of

numerous thin strips of wood, known as

veneers.

Each veneer sheet is laid on top of each

other with the grain of each alternating

sheet running in opposition direction and

bonded with glue into a plywood sheet.

This method of construction creates a very

strong and versatile man-made timber

material which is less susceptible to

expansion and shrinkage

LVL- is a modern engineered wood

composite product made from rotary

peeled veneers laid up with parallel

grain orientation.

1. Good quality, better resistant

2. Cheap

3. Light

4. Strong

Glued Laminated Timbers- are

solid wood members

manufactured by gluing multiple

pieces together to form a larger

structural member.

Sarking- reflective foil laminate

1. Radiant barrier

2. Moisture barrier

Portal Frame: A steel portal frame consists

of rigid frame in the side of primary frames.

It is based on a rigid connection between

the portal frame column and rafter and a

pinned column base condition.

-strong, resist large loads

Air Duct-(HVAC) - deliver and

remove air.

-is mainly made from galvanised

steel, duct wrap or liner (fibre glass

blanket) may installed inside for

insulation.

Platon HDPE Waterproofing

Membrane- stop water

entering the building

- provides protection to

underground structures from

backfill. The membrane

prevents backfill from

touching the wall and the

dimpled design creates an

air gap which allows

moisture to condense on the

membrane and fall freely to

the footing drain for

removal.

Timber wall cladding-

different from floorboard (<-

tighter and nicer edge)

Tongue and groove joint

LVL- Strong back

Scoria- lightweight, durable
