HATHA YOGA CLASSES

Tuesdays at lunchtime, June 12 through July 31,

at Star Plaza from 12:15pm-1:15pm for a

one-hour Yoga standing-pose class where you’ll

spend 45-minutes of stretching and 15-minutes of relaxation. Classes are

led by George F. Kroto, B.A., L.M.T.

NOON “OPEN AIR”Bring your lunch and

your appetite for fun as 90.3 ideastream presents Around Noon Open Air, a

summer celebration of music and the arts,

broadcast live from Star Plaza. Be part of the

outdoor “studio” audience on June 7 and 21, and then

every other Thursday July 12 – August 23 at noon.

PLAYHOUSESQUARE DISTRICT CORNHOLE TOURNAMENTThe annual summer cornhole tournament is a double elimination tournament format of teams representing the PlayhouseSquare area companies. Play begins August 6 through September 4 at lunchtime on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Cornhole registration fees benefit the City Mission, Cleveland APL and Rise Above It.

THE 13TH ANNUAL PLAYHOUSESQUARE DISTRICT BLOCK PARTY & TOURThe traditional end of summer event at Star Plaza is Friday, Sept. 7, from 5pm-9pm. Event plans include a walking tour of the neighborhood by the Take a Hike! guides, signature foods by the PlayhouseSquare restaurants, A Taste of Excellence, Johnsonville Sausage, cash bar, live entertainment and the PlayhouseSquare Cornhole Championship Game. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased online at playhousesquare.org or at the PlayhouseSquare Ticket Office. Tickets on sale August 1.
