We hope you’re enjoying this year’s Paul K. Young Truck Beauty Champion-
ship, the Mid-America Trucking Show, and all that these two great events
have to offer.
As part of our commitment to bringing you the best events in the country, we
are excited to announce the first annual P.K.Y. Program Recap, a real-time
summary of the 23rd Annual Paul K. Young truck Beauty Championship. Within
these pages, you will find listings for every competitor in every class of the
competition. We are thrilled to be the first of any class 8 truck beauty show in
the country to produce a printed program for all of our participants. Given
that the Mid-America Trucking Show is the largest and best heavy-duty truck-
ing tradeshow in the country, it only makes sense that we produce the best
truck beauty championships as part of MATS and this program is another way
that we can showcase P.K.Y. as the leading event of its kind.
Now in its 23rd year, the P.K.Y. Truck Beauty Championship has consistently
attracted many of the finest show trucks in the country. Highly regarded as
the most elite show truck competition of the year, P.K.Y. owes its success and
its elite status to many who have contributed throughout the show’s history.
This tremendous success is the result of the dedication of the show truck own-
ers to their trucks, the outstanding sponsor support we see each year from the
leading companies in the trucking industry, the thousands of truck-savvy show
attendees admiring and taking pictures of these immaculate vehicles, and
the hard work and dedication of the P.K.Y. event staff. We thank you all for
the role you play in this event and your efforts to make P.K.Y. the best event in
the country.
Congratulations to all the show truck participants at this year’s competition.
We are honored by everything you do to enhance the image of the trucking
industry and commend you for showcasing your efforts here at P.K.Y. This pro-
