2012 Missouri Preservation Conference

SAVE THE DATE OCTOBER 24-26, 2012 UNIVERSITY CITY

Join Missouri Preservation in partnership with University City (St. Louis County) for the 2012 Missouri Preservation Conference at the Center of Creative Arts (COCA) located in The Loop October 24–26. The Historic Building Development and Tax Credit Workshop will be held on Oct. 24 and the Preserving Historic Stained Glass Workshop on Oct 26th. The Loop offers six blocks of exhilarating retail, restaurants, live music, café culture, and even a Walk-Of-Fame. A century ago at this location, streetcars from downtown “looped around” to return to the city, which gave the area its name. The American Planning Association named this thriving retail, restaurant, arts, and entertainment district “One of the 10 Great Streets in America.” Visit www.visittheloop.com. Hotel reservations can be made at the Moonrise Hotel or Comfort Inn for a reduced rate. A limited block of rooms is available, so make your reservations early.
