The brand new Arai Corsair-V RC carbon fibre helmet is one of the most special helmets ever offered to the motorcycling community.

Consisting of no less than eleven carefully applied carbon fibre layers, the outer shell technology of the Corsair-V RC is based upon that of the GP-6 RC car-racing helmet — spe-cially developed for Formula 1 use — result-ing in an extremely stiff and light carbon fibre outer shell that is reinforced with Arai’s Peripherally Belted construction.

In order to make this all possible, Arai engi-neers searched and found a superior carbon fibre of unparalleled quality. A mixture of this aircraft quality premium carbon fibre com-bined with Arai’s own resin and Zylon rein-forcement proved to be the perfect mixture for the Arai Corsair-V RC’s outer shell. Aerodynamic Design For The Real World Think about the egg. A simple shape without exaggerated add-ons to break up its smooth shape thereby weakening the shell’s ability to dissipate energy, or worse yet to catch on something. Nature has a way of weeding out crazy ideas over the millennia coming to the optimum solution.

When it comes to helmet design, Arai figures that all the R&D mon-ey in the world could not trump thousands of years of evolutionary design. Pretty good judgment if you think about it, because “safe” design is better than “cool” design any day of the week. Besides, Mr. Arai insists on it from his engineers.

So no you won’t get oversized vents sticking out or massive triple-jump protrusions molded into an Arai helmet, but you will get something much more valuable. Arai shells are smaller size for size than shells from other manufacturer and share the organic shape of the egg for a simple reason. It delivers a wind-slicing yet stable platform for real world performance no matter which way you turn your head or what bike you ride - all while providing the best pos-sible energy management platform. So why would Arai, why would you, make any other choice?

Integrated Side Vent Design With more aggressive styling, the side exhaust vents are part of the RX-Q’s ventilation system that has been designed to deliver maximum airflow even on the street, but don’t think of them as just vents. Their design integrates with the shell’s ridgeline to provide lateral stability and comfort via minimized helmet movement as speeds increase.

More Air Everywhere More airflow means more noise, right? Most of the time the answer would be yes, but not here.The RX-Q’s new advance ventilation system combines increased efficiency in air circulation with LOWER interior noise. And with great

efficiency, the RX-Q’s ventilation system flows huge amounts of air for massively improved ventilation even at street speeds placing the RX-Q at the top of the list of the best ventilated helmets on the market.

Once again Arai Engineers prove that the evolution of proven designs can result in substantial improvements without the pitfalls of changing directions on a whim.

When Arai set out to engineer their next innovation they had more in mind than just designing another helmet. Much more.

In fact, Arai set out to design a whole new category of helmet. One that listened to its racing heritage, but spoke to the open road with performance that all street riders could appreciate at street speeds and under conditions they face every time they head out. Conditions like changing wind direction and gusts, high and changing noise levels, oncoming traffic concerns and temperature levels at low speeds.

Peripheral Vision ... Plus The openings of a helmet are a very serious matter. Only through precise engineering and advanced production techniques and materials can a manu-facturer enlarge these while maintaining safety levels. Yet wider openings and vent holes mean extra venting, a wider field of vision, and easier entry and exit.

The RX-Q delivers on all fronts. A new larger eye port means that peripheral vision has been extended for greater visibility and awareness of what is around you on the streets and byways of the real world.

Comfort and Quiet Beyond Your Wildest Imagination Greater comfort, including a quieter helmet, all with a greater sense of security via a positive fit for more head shapes all because of a cheek pad.

With 12 components assembled by hand, each RX-Q cheek pad is labor intensive, but worth the effort. Once a rider tries on a RX-Q, they immediately realize the difference it makes in the RX-Q’s fit.

Arai sculpted the RX-Q’s cheek pad so that it became part of the helmet security system and not just a comfort pad. As soon as you pull a RX-Q on (via a new wider opening for a more comfortable entry) the difference is instantly apparent. Once the RX-Q’s cheek pads slide into place they provide the most positive feel you will have ever felt

from a helmet as they come to “cradle” your face for a secure feeling unlike any other helmet. Additionally, an RX-Q’s cheek pads’ ergonomically engineered contour results in increased surface area that distributes contact to a greater area for not only a secure fit and feel, but fantastic comfort at the same time.

And as if that is not enough, Arai has engineered the shape of the RX-Q’s cheek pad to provide a better seal against noise right where most helmet noise originates. Add to that Arai’s use of a new sound-deadening foam, not to mention the new quieter ventilation system, and you have the helmet design that may well define Arai’s future in quiet helmet design.

As for the lining, the RX-Q utilizes Arai’s exclusive Dry-Cool fabric which incorporates encapsulated micro water cells woven in the fabric for improved water and heat transfer from the rider’s head and into the air flowing through the helmet for a drier, cooler experience and quicker drying.

One more thing the RX-Q incorporates is another Arai innovation, the Emergency Cheek Pad Removal System. And yes, you have seen it copied by others, but good ideas in safety should not be hoarded away. They should be brought to the masses.

Drop Dead Gorgeous ... and Functional The unique, sculpted Hyper Ridge is part of the RX-Q’s aerodynamic design that along with the diffuser and exhaust vents combine to

provide a new level of stability. Arai’s first 100% wind tunnel designed and tested helmet, the RX-Q is stable not just in a straight line or at high speeds, but in the real world of constant head-turning, look left-look right, “where did that noise come from” street riding.

Structurally the Hyper Ridge circles the shell’s lower opening to improve shell strength, a lower center-of-gravity for a lightweight, balanced feel-ing you will fall in love with, and it allows for a larger entry opening for easier on-off without enlarging the shell. Buying helmets that are too big because of the helmet opening? Not any more! That does not even bring up the point that it looks pretty cool.

Signet-QSignet-Q True Long Oval Fit

Long Oval PlusThe Signet-Q reintroduces an Arai fit that many rider’s have missed since the Arai Signet Series last existed.

Fitting longer (front-to-back) and narrower (side-to-side), Arai’s exclusive Long Oval offers a fit with additional forehead room for the rider who finds that other helmets have pres-sure points in the forehead often made obvious by the red spot on the rider’s forehead upon re-moving the helmet.

And for the rider with a slightly wider fit, the Sig-net-Q features Arai’s exclusive 5mm removable pad-ding on each cheek pad for a custom fit.

The RX-Q fast became the most popular Arai helmet with its wide range of impressive features including improvements in airflow and aerodynam-ic stability through re-engineered ventilation and shell design, lowered ambient sound levels via a new cheek pad design, and maximized pe-ripheral vision with a wider eye port all designed for extreme comfort for long oval head shapes.

But for many American and European heads this fit still does not match the quality of the fit they experienced in the Signet Series. The reality is that these riders have heads that are longer front to rear and narrower from side to side than helmets are engineered to fit comfortably. Unfortu-nately, for these riders no one made a helmet to fit their heads properly. That was until the introduction of the Signet-Q.

MaxVision V ShieldArai has taken its exclusive MaxVision Shield Technology to the next level by including brow vents in the shield and offering it as standard equipment on the Signet-Q.

MaxVision Shields fully cover the helmet opening with the chosen color insert and enable the rider to change that color from clear to dark smoke to light tint, yellow or amber to suit changing light conditions without having to carry additional shields.

At the same time, MaxVision Shields are anti-fog for all-weather use.

MaxVision Shields are also available in a race version without brow vents. SAI shields also fit the Signet-Q.

FCS Cheek Pad SystemMany people find it uncomfortable to put a helmet on their head. Some even buy helmets that are too large so that they can put them on comfortably, which is a bad idea for more than one reason. But how do you design a hel-met that goes on comfortably yet fits securely once on the rider’s head?

Arai started with the RX-Q cheek pad, known for its quiet seal, and took it one step further. A compression pad in each cheek pad squeezes tight against the shell as the rider pulls the helmet straps apart to put on the helmet (A to the left), and springs back to fit securely against the rider’s cheeks once the helmet is on the head (B). No more squeezed, pinched, tugged, ripped or pulled ears, earrings or hair.

Easy to put on, easy to wear, easy to take off.

As the rider pulls the chin straps out ward to pull the helmet on, the Com-pression Pad is squeezed against the shell resulting in more room for the rider’s head to enter the helmet.

Extreme Peripheral ViewThe VECTOR-2 utilizes the wider eyeport first introduced on the Corsair-V for a great field of vision.

Which means the VECTOR-2 uses the same shields as the Corsair-V and RX-Q.

Hyper-RidgeArai’s dist inct ive Hyper-Ridge reinforcement band along the bottom of the shell adds reinforcement and shell strength at the shell opening while lowering the helmet’s center of gravity resulting in improved overall “balance” and a lighter feel allowing the helmet to “rest easier” on the head for greater rider comfort.

Why is that significant? Because unlike many helmet makers who reduce the shell material at the bottom of the helmet, this allows Arai to maintain the shell thickness to the very edge for added strength where it is needed most.

Improved Liner DesignThe VECTOR-2 features Arai’s latest comfort liner design which features a 5mm Peel-Away Temple Pad Layer that allows the rider to adjust for pressure and fit at the side of the forehead for greater comfort without buying optional liners. It, also, minimizes the use of plastic and maximizes contact with the head resulting in the convenience of a removable liner with the comfort of a full liner. Fully removable and washable.

Adjustable Cheek PadThe VECTOR-2 utilizes Arai’s latest cheek pad design which, as usual, allows the cheek pads to be removed, cleaned and replaced with alternative sizes, and now also features a remov-able 5mm Peel-Away Layer that allows the rider to make custom fit adjustments to his helmet without having to buy additional cheek pads.

Tuned Rear Vent-WingThe VECTOR-2’s ACR2 Exhaust Vent System is wind-tunnel tested and tuned for markedly improved ventilation and heat dissipation.

How Does it Work?Pinlock anti-fog inserts are created out of a moisture absorbing plastic and include a silicone seal that creates an airtight pocket between the shield and insert.

The Pinlock Original System is held in place by 2 tension adjusting pins for easy installation/removal as weather conditions change.

The MaxVision System does not require the use of pins although they are available for optional use.

Both Pinlock Systems are based on 3 principles that work together:

1. Moisture Absorbing MaterialEach Pinlock insert lens is made out of a soft, porous plastic that is designed to absorb and dissipate moisture.

2. Material ThicknessA Pinlock inert’s thicker material structure allows it to absorb more moisture as well as to offer more impact protection.

3. Double Lens SystemAn air-tight pocket between the Pinlock anti-fog insert and the face shield creates an insulation layer further increasing the anti-fogging properties of the system making shield fogging a thing of the past!


N-ComN-COM Bluetooth® Communication Technology

Intergrated Bike System Headset (MCS) Kit The MCS kit is designed for the rider whose motorcycle is equipped with a factory installed audio system and who wants to integrate into the bike’s system to listen to the bike’s stereo, talk over the intercom system and/or use the CB.

Includes a headset (speakers, microphone, installation plates and wires) and the lower cord to plug into the motorcycle’s on-board system. Microphone need not be installed for audio only.

Available for Harley-Davidson and Honda GL1800.

MULTI BlueTooth EboxThe MULTI Ebox Kit offers the same features as the regular Basic and BlueTooth kits, but has been developed for helmets that are not N-Com Ready. Simple to use and easy to install, MULTI kits are adaptable to different helmet brands and models and can be transferred from one helmet to another. The kit allows you to communicate via BlueTooth with your passenger or with another BlueTooth-equipped motorcycle rider, use your mobile phone, listen to music or connect to a GPS and receive travel information.

Includes the MULTI Ebox and MULTI Basic Kit.Available in Solo or Rider/Passenger packages.

BlueTooth® Wireless technology aimed at eliminating the wires between devices such as cell phones, GPSs, headsets and now stereo music devices. Small radio chips are installed in N-Com BlueTooth2 Eboxes to make the helmet compatible with BlueTooth® devices including Bluetooth®-equipped cell phones, a passenger’s helmet equipped with a BlueTooth2 Ebox, a GPS unit, a Bluetooth® stereo music device or other compatible Bluetooth® devices.

BlueTooth2 EboxEach BlueTooth2 Ebox Kit includes an Ebox unit, Multimedia Wire X stereo cable, battery, battery charger, seal and an adaptor for use with Basic Kits, and offers wireless connection from helmet to helmet or between a helmet and Bluetooth-equipped devices such as a cell phone and/or GPS.

Stereo music capable. Allows rider to control a music source (skip song, mute, etc.) with the BlueTooth2’s buttons. Two helmets may be paired together for rider to passenger intercom with a Bluetooth device paired to each helmet at the same time.

Intercom EboxThe Intercom Ebox Kit includes the Ebox, the Intercom Wire for rider to passenger communi-cation, battery, battery charger and seal. It is used for wired connection from helmet to helmet, or between a helmet and a phone, GPS or other device (connection with peri-pheral devices requires a specific wire - not included).

Use of an Ebox is also recommended for use to amplify the signal from any music device, such as an MP3, in order to listen to the music at a satisfactory volume level in the helmet.

Basic (Headset) Kit 2(Specific kits available for Nolan helmet models N103/N90/N43T/N43, N102, N42 and N84) Required for use with all N-Com systems. N-Com Configuration Options

Nolan Helmets are engineered to accept the speakers, micro-phone and wiring of a N-Com Communication System without compromising comfort or safety with a straight-forward, modifi-cation-free installation. And now with Nolan’s MULTI any brand helmet can do the same.

Designed with audio and communication in mind: the inte-

riors of Nolan helmets were engineered to accept N-Com Communication Systems via a simple installation requiring only simple tools and need no cutting or guesswork. So simple that anyone can do it at the time of purchase or on a later date.

N-Com Communication Systems are modular, so each rider can choose which components he needs based upon his needs.

To Connect to Wireless and Wired Devices

Allows the rider to connect his helmet wirelessly to a Bluetooth- enabled device using HF, HS, A2DP, AVRC profiles.

Paired with a phone:Receive and place calls from helmet using the functions of the phone. BlueTooth Kit 2 will pair to phone AND another N-Com. For cell phones with MP3 players, music can be played in N-Com if phone allows BlueTooth music broadcast.

Paired with a motorcycle specific GPS:Directions, music and phone calls will be routed wirelessly directly into your helmet.

Myth: They are just air filled chambers, so they cannot be very puncture resistant. This is totally incorrect. Two levels of puncture resistance exist at a minimum. First the tough outer DuPontTM Cordura® shell provides a barrier to penetration and it does not have large holes that might allow sticks or branches to catch or sneak through like hard plastic chest protectors. Also the bladders are made of a tough poly-vinyl that would be very difficult to penetrate even if it did not have an outershell. And because of their lightness and compactness a jacket or additional layer can comfortably be worn for trail riding.

The resulting protection is far greater than a plastic or foam chest protector could ever possibly provide.

Myth: They must be hot to wear during warm weather.When inflated correctly (i.e. not over inflated), a RXR Chest Protector’s big advantage is that it is not only light and flexible, but that it is able to flex and create voids for air to flow through. And many RXRs now come equipped with center vents to allow air to flow through the chest protector as well.

The reality is that any thing that is touching or pushing against your body is going to be “hot” during warm weather whether it is made of plastic, foam or lighter weight materials like an RXR. Protection does have a price.

Terms & ConditionsDEALERSHIP REQUIREMENTSProof of dealership status as a legitimate motorsports dealership required to become an approved dealer.

ESTABLISHING ACCOUNTSProspective dealers are required to provide proof of dealership status as a legitimate motorsports dealership, and must complete all dealer applica-tion forms to become an approved dealer. Upon activation of an account, an account number will be issued and a dealer price list forwarded. Material changes in the business or inactivity for an extended period requires comple-tion of a new account application.

ORDERINGOrders may be placed by phone, online, via fax or with a J&D sales rep. Please use your account number and J&D part numbers when ordering to ensure the accuracy of your order.

TERMSAll accounts will be shipped C.O.D., credit card or certified check unless deal-ership has been approved for a company check or an open account.

OPEN ACCOUNTSTo establish credit, an account should submit a Open Account Application with all fields complete including signatures, references and any other documenta-tion requested at that time. Please allow 15 working days for an open account to be approved. A returned check charge of $25 will be assessed on all checks returned for insufficient funds. Overdue accounts are subject to a 1.5% monthly finance charge on past due balance, and will be placed on credit card until the account has been brought up to date. Freight allowances will not be allowed on overdue accounts. If legal action or collection fees are necessary to collect an overdue account, the overdue account will be held responsible for all costs incurred to collect that money.

MINIMUM ORDEROrders under $35 will be subject to a $5 service charge.

PRICINGPrices subject to change without notice. Order acceptance and sale occurs at time of shipment. Prices for backordered products may not be guaranteed.

SHIPPINGWe make every effort to ship all orders received each day. To assure same day shipment, place your order by 3PM EST. Shipments are made via the method deemed best unless instructed otherwise.

Shipping Guidelines: Ground transportation on invoices of $500 or more will be shipped prepaid freight within the Continental United States For shipments outside this zone but within the United States, a freight allowance of up to 5% of the invoice total for merchandise will be allowed on most products. Call for details or for freight to zones outside of the United States. Expedited and spe-cial freight will be shipped freight collect. Freight allowance does not include C.O.D., insurance or other carrier imposed surcharges and only apply to ground rates on shipments to business addresses as per the shipper. Prepaid freight will not be allowed on shipments to overdue accounts.

BACKORDERSMerchandise that is out of stock will automatically be placed on backorder. Backorders received within 30 days will be shipped upon receipt unless oth-erwise advised. Ground freight will be prepaid upon shipment of backorders except on new products that have yet to be received to enable shipment.

RETURNSAll returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA#) issued by J&D Walter Distributors. Packages that do not include the RMA# on the shipping label may be refused at the receiving dock. An RMA# request may be made by contacting a J&D Customer Service Rep at 800-833-3503. Please see J&D Walter’s Return Policy for full details.

FREIGHT CLAIMSTitle to merchandise passes to the customer on delivery to the shipping company. All claims for damage or shortage should be made with the carrier at the time of delivery. Upon arrival of a damaged package, contact the car-rier immediately to arrange for an inspection and/or pick up of the damaged merchandise. Only the recipient can initiate this process as the carrier of record assumes responsibility for the package upon pick up from J&D Walter Distributors. Save the packaging in the condition in which it arrived. Contact J&D Walter Distributors if you require any information to make a claim with the carrier and to notify your Sales Representative of the situation.

INVOICE DISCREPANCIESAll invoice discrepancies including price adjustments, processing fees and other add-ons should be disputed within 30 days of invoice.

WARRANTYProduct warranties, if any, are provided by the manufacturer of the prod-ucts. J&D Walter Distributors, Inc. makes no warranties whatsoever, whether expressed, implied or statutory, including without limitation the implied war-ranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. All merchandise distributed by J&D Walter Distributors, Inc. will be warrantied in accordance with the manufacturers’ terms of warranty.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITYJ&D Walter shall not be liable to purchaser, purchaser’s customers, or any other party for any loss, damage, or injury that results from the use or appli-cation by purchaser, purchaser’s customer, or any other party of products delivered. In no event, shall J&D Walter be liable to purchaser or any other party for loss, damage, or injury of any kind or nature arising out of or in con-nection with these terms and conditions, or any agreement into which they are incorporated.
