that peach, not ready yesterday,is ripe today

I’m a big fan of Haikus, elegant...simple images that can hold within them profound observations about the human experience. So that peach not ready yesterday is now ripe, summer is arriving with all the succulence we have come to expect here in the Willamette Valley. And like that prover-bial peach, Fun For All is bursting into fruition as I write. Our theme this summer is Metamorphosis; with which we hope to invoke the sense that we all continue to grow, as individuals, as a commu-nity, as a special place. This summer is Eugene’s 150th Birthday. Come out and celebrate with us what we were, what we are and what we will become—we guarantee Fun For All.
