STATE SERIES CREW GUIDELINES & STRUCTURE
Our goal was too provide an environment where the best officials can excel and more opportunity can be given to those who put the work in to achieve a higher standard of officiating.
Minimum Requirements
•Member in-good-standing with BCBOA and FHSAA
•Rank 1 or 2 official
•State Field Clinic within past four years
•BCBOA Three-Man Training
•(unless you went to Eval Camp or SFC in the Fall)
COLLECTIONS• You are responsible
• Keep good records
• Start with the Bookkeeper at the individual school
• If they have sent it on, confirm the date it was sent forward
• If they have no record of it, you may need to contact the AD
• Allow 2 to 3 weeks from the date they gave you
• If you feel you should have received it based on the information you gained
above, contact [email protected] . She has offered to
help
• Stay tighter on your JV multi-school events. I would call the following week
to make sure paper work is received.
• For Private Schools, usually a call to the Bookkeeper will rectify the situation
• If you go past April of 2013 to work on the collections, you are on your own
• Remember: Kindness goes farther than belligerence
ISSUES• For the most part things have been running smoothly.
• Nice work for everyone investing in the new jersey
• Concerns:
• Tardiness or late for games
• Email reminder – don’t discount it
• Rules Mechanics Knowledge
• Middle School Quarter Minutes
• Double Fouls – team in the bonus ?!
• Last second Shot
• Talking to Coaches
• Coach or player ejections
• Anything else come up???
