Future Nurses Club
• With the support of Lancaster General Hospital (LGH), Conestoga Valley High School is pleased to again offer our “Future Nurses Club” for any students interested in pursuing a career in Nursing. The program will span the entire school year and meetings will occur once each month for an hour after school. Each week will touch on a different topic related to Nursing. Participants will have the opportunity to learn physical assessment skills and techniques that will be beneficial as you pursue your Nursing degree

Future Business Leaders of America
• Leann McDonald • Room 112/114 during assigned FLEX time• FBLA is a club where students can prepare themselves to
be leaders. Students do not necessarily need to have an interest in business in order to find club membership to be beneficial. FBLA offers students a chance to participate in various leadership-based field trips, compete against students from other schools in an assortment of business events, and an opportunity to serve their school and community.

• Pennsylvania FBLA web address: www.pafbla.org Because FBLA is a state and national organization, members are required to pay a $15 dues membership fee. This a portion of this fee goes to the national office, a portion of the fee goes to the state office and a portion of this fee goes to the local office.

taping/wrapping, and rehabilitation skills related to sports injuries.

• Available to help in athletic training room from 2:50pm to 4:30pm at least twice a week during one sports season (unless member is a three-sport athlete).

SADD
• Mrs. Lopez and Mr. Thomas • SADD is a peer-to-peer education, prevention,
and activism organization dedicated to preventing destructive decisions, particularly underage drinking, other drug use, risky and impaired driving, teen violence, and teen suicide.

• SADD Mission: To provide students with the best prevention tools possible to deal with the issues of underage drinking, other drug use, impaired driving and other destructive decisions.

Model United Nations• Perkowski • The Model United Nations Team is for students who are
interested in international issues, debate, politics, and law. Students are assigned a United Nations committee and a country to represent. We research various topics and then meet with other schools about once a month to debate these issues. If you want to make the world a better place or are concerned about the injustices throughout the world, then you may be a good fit for the UN Team.

BUCKS CONNECT• Butensky/Whitley • Fill out application for selection process • Main Gym (3rd Tues of Month) Estimated • 40 buddies with 40 peer mentors The purpose of our club is to
connect students with different abilities in intentional social relationships. BUCKS CONNECT will meet once a month during flex for a MONTHLY MINGLE event. All buddies will be paired with a CVHS peer mentor to help them participate in activities and have lots of fun in the process. The club will have a quarterly social event at a school activity to facilitate participation in high school events with a group of friends to help students to connect with each other and enjoy high school life. All interested students must fill out an application by October 7

BUCKS CONNECT
• Those accepted as peer mentors will be paired with a buddy for club events. This peer mentor/buddy relationship will last for the duration of the school year. The expectation is for each peer mentor to attend the monthly mingle activity and the four quarterly social events. In addition, the peer mentor is encouraged to reach out to their buddy during the school year in intentional ways to build a friendship.

Art Club• Cara Longacre• 9th and 10th grade Art students• This club is for 9th and 10th grade students who have an
interest in art. The goal is to give students experience working with other art interested students on special projects that are not always possible in an art class.

• Students will be:- finishing a mural to hang in the hallway- planning and working with residents at Evergreen Estates Retirement home with an art therapy related art lesson- helping NAHS with a mural as time allows- creating some posters highlighting the CV character traits for display around the school Be a current freshman or SophomoreHave a strong interest and dedication to fine art, or art therapy

FCS (Fellowship of Christian Student)
• Mrs. Whitley/Mr. Hershey • The goal of FCS is to provide an opportunity for students
to express their Christian faith and meet together to for mutual encouragement, discipleship, and outreach. The students hope to provide a gathering for students from all Christian denominations and youth groups to meet together before school on Friday mornings in a non-judgmental, accepting atmosphere to provide Christian guidance and outlook on how to live by faith and godly character in a public school. No requirements.

the club promoting all of CV's Character traits. • Our main goal is to create a school culture not of
tolerance but of acceptance and respect of all students no matter their sex, race, age, or sexual preference. You are expected to be an active and involved member of the club. You are expected to attend all meetings and when you are given a job or assignment to fulfill your obligation.
