    electric strikes for high

    security requirements

  • The following products have been discontinued. Should you have any questions, please contact customer support at 800.626.7590.

    Effective February 1, 2010

Folger Adam has a proud history. Founded in 1880 by William J. Adam, the company initially manufactured ornamental fencing and grillwork. His son Folger later changed the company name to Folger Adam and focused on manufacturing detention cells. By the early 20th century, Folger Adam expanded their product offering to include a wide variety of mechanical locks and locking hardware.

Today, we’re building on that tradition by offering high quality electric strikes for installations that require extra heavy duty durability and tamper resistance. Now part of Hanchett Entry Systems, Inc. (HES), Folger Adam continues to satisfy a wide variety of access control requirements in commercial, industrial and institutional applications.

On behalf of our entire team, thank you for buying Folger Adam products!

Introducing ElectroLynx, a wiring system of universal plug-in connectors and standardized, color-coded wiring that makes installation a snap. Now, door and hardware components, including the frame, hinge, door, and locking hardware, can be pre-wired with plug-in connectors that snap together to create a fully-wired electrical opening. The plugs and wiring are concealed to preserve the aesthetics of the opening and facilitate any future hardware changes.
