TRANSCRIPT
2012 8TH DECEMBER
Laird is the son of Artist and Stone carver Malcolm Harlow of Opus Oaks. The
above is a plaster casting of Lairds arm with his blankly draped over the thumb. When he gave up sucking
his thumb and needing his
blanket they made this sculpture together to commemorate the occasion.
His wife Kelly’s love of animals came through when she was holding this precious little one, and the
love was returned. Kelly
and Laird have a large family of dogs and cats. All, I think are rescues. If I ever
incarnated as an animal and need rescuing I would want these folks to rescue me. (Kelly requested I not take
her picture)
TO THE LEFT IS A SHRINE FROM A CHILDHOOD PASSAGE... WHEN ONE GETS BEYOND BLANKET AND THUMB.
WE ARRIVED AT WINTER PARK FL AND MET THE PARODICAL SON WE HAD A GREAT TWO HOUR VISIT HEY TO FAMILY!

THEIR FIRST HOUSE
BACK TO THE OPEN ROAD
WHERE THE CLOUDS STARTED OUT WHITE AND BILLOWING...WITHIN A HALF AN HOUR LOOKED GRAY AND MENACING...AND THEN SPRUNG A LEAK. WE ARRIVED AND GOT SET UP JUST IN TIME! IT RAINED HARD ON AND OFF ALL NIGHT.
TO
THE VERY NEXT DAY
We ran in to this Scout Troop that was camping during all the rain. They had no sleep...the down pour started when they were just beginning to put up their tents...everything got soaked. They practiced survival skills.
THE LOOK OUT
We did some biking.
AFTER WE WENT BIKING WE HOPPED IN THE CAR AND EXPLORED THE AREA A LITTLE BIT.
THE FIRST THING WE SAW WAS THIS TURTLE CROSSING THE ROAD.
THEN WE FOUND HOBE SOUND
