The Prayer of JabezAnd Jabez was more honorable

than his brothers, and his mother named

God of Israel, saying, "Oh that Thouwouldst bless me indeed, and enlarge

with me, and that Thou wouldst keep mefrom harm, that it may not pain me!" And

floor of Chidon, Uzza put out his hand to

hold the ark, because the oxen nearly

upset it. 10And the anger of the LORD

burned against Uzza, so He struck himdown because he put out his hand to the

ark; and he died there before God.

of the LORD's outburst against Uzza; and

he called that place Perez-uzza to this

day.

in his house, that David said to Nathan the
