Key TechnologyWe design solutions including:• Pulse compression techniques• Doppler processing• Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW)• Electronic scanning and phased array variable Pulse Repetition Frequency (PRF)

Doppler processing, allowed us to achieve a 90-degree radar sweep with no moving parts, detection of moving personnel and vehicles at a range of several kilometres with excellent clutter rejection, extremely low radiated power for low probability of intercept and a man-portable form factor.

All parts of the system were chosen to use standard industrial components, giving advantages in both cost of manufacture and ability to address export markets. The B202 is now part of a large portfolio of security solutions offered by Blighter Surveillance Systems (www.blighter.com).
