SPA contributes to a better indoor environment. By creating a
molecular shield around every fiber it ensures the following:
✓ Non hazardous (no CFC/PFOS/PFOA)✓ Little or no chemicals needed (maintenance)✓ Inert material without active chemicals or properties✓ Increases durability and product life cycle (up to 100%)✓ Decreases the friction between the fibers, which results
in a reduction in fluctuation of dust and fabric fibers✓ Prevents the spreading of bacterial growth, fungus and
mold, thus improving the indoor air quality
How
The Fiber ProTector product forms an
invisible shield around the fibers,
providing an effective barrier against all
kinds of organic matter, fluids, dust and
debris, that on unprotected textiles would
result in permanent stains. It adds UV
protection, and does not affect surface
texture and breathability.
Areas of application
✓ furniture/upholstery✓ carpets✓ curtains/draperies✓ bed linen/blankets/mattresses
Application
Fiber ProTector has a water based (WB) solution and a
solvent based (SB) solution. WB solution is used on
old/used fabric (thorough cleaning, using an extraction
machine, is essential prior to application of the WB
product, to ensure the best possible result). SB solution
is used on new/clean fabric.
WB
Water based solution - used for ‘wet in wet’ application,
immediately after a fabric cleaning, when the fabric is
still wet. Approximately 8 hours curing time, and 24
hours till dry (as usual when doing extraction).
SB
Solvent (isopropanol) based solution - used for dry
application, when the fabric is new and clean.
Approximately 1 hour curing time/till dry.
Maintenance
✓ regular vacuuming is usually sufficient
✓ wet spill stain - simply blot up with a
dry absorbent paper towel
✓ dried spill stain - simply use a
microfiber cloth wetted with plenty of
warm water, then blot up with a dry
absorbent paper towel
In most cases, no chemicals or shampoo
needed or to be used during regular
maintenance. If problems, use a ph neutral
cleaning agent.

Case Studies
Fiber Protector meets all requirements for use in airplanes, ships and in offshore operations, places where the requirements for fire safety and for emission of damaging gases during a fire are under strict regulation.

“Fiber ProTector conducted protection of
our new furniture at the SAS crew lounge
at Oslo Airport five years ago. The
furniture treated has since then not
received any cleaning or extraction and
we thought we had to replace them. But
an extraction brought the furniture back
to original state, as new! This saved us a
lot of money.”

“Fiber Protector Norge AS has provided upholstery and carpet anti stain protection treatment to our heavy traffic Restaurants and the VIP suites of our resorts, where we had issues to keep the areas cleaned & maintained. We have been 100% satisfied with the results where the treatments have proved a success in minimizing the regular cleaning regime and in preventing these areas becoming damaged due to spillages.”

RCCL’s great cruise ship “Radiance of the seas” is one of many cruise ships that has treated their carpets and furniture with Fiber ProTector.
“On board ships, cruise passengers expect seating, carpets, curtains and similar materials to be spotless. The application of Fiber ProTector treatments can help the cruise operator maintain high standards, enabling housekeeping staff on board to remove organic stains more quickly and easily. Consequently, areas that require cleaning are rarely out of commission for long during cruise operations”

”Our custom hand tufted wool carpet is not
complete until it is treated with Fiber
ProTector. We want our distinctive carpet to
retain its original appearance for as long as
possible and there is no better shield from the
rigours and abuse of an active aircraft cabin.
We encourage our aerospace customers to
treat all of their textiles and carpets with this
great product.”

at demonstrating the effectiveness of
Fiber ProTector applied to carpets in high
traffic area locations. The results are as
follows
✓ 2.5 to 6 x longer time before need for initial cleaning vs untreated
✓ 27 to 89% reduction in total cleaning needs vs untreated
