2018 SEASON MEDIA GUIDE GOLDMINE • After posing for a photoshoot, Magnuson and his teammates joined Levi’s in support of breast, colon and pediatric cancer warriors at the Crucial Catch Fashion Show presented by Dignity Health on October 2, 2018. 49ers players and cancer warriors took to the runway to show off their attire and share their stories of strength and courage with the audience. • The 49ers partnered with Furry Friends Pet Assisted Therapy Ser- vices for animal ther- apy, while providing confidence building activities for students in the Leland High School special needs program in an effort to erase the stigma attached to special needs. Magnuson and his teammates spent time with stu- dents with autism, mental illness and learning disabilities as they play board games, working on social skills including conversational queues and eye contact through the hands-on activity. Players will also partner with animal therapy dogs to uplift students through one-on-one interactions. MAGNUSON’S GOLDEN NUGGET Won the Hugh R. Rader Memorial Award as a senior in 2016 at Michigan after starting all 12 games at right tackle. The award honors the school’s top lineman. He also earned First-Team All-Big Ten honors. GOLDMINE (CONTINUED) In April of 2018, Along with several teammates, Magnuson attend- ed the eighth annual UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Prom in San Francisco. Magnuson is a fan of comedians and comedy in general. Various former teammates at Michigan have said he was easily the funni- est guy on the team. “Chris Farley is my all-time favorite. His mov- ies are hilarious,” said Magnuson when asked about what type of comedy he enjoys. “And I like Will Ferrell.” Along with offensive lineman Kyle Kalis, he began his own weekly comedy show ‘Gone Piggin’ which aired every monday on WOLV TV.
