It seems like just yesterday we were eating Hawaiian food and enjoying the island dancers! Here we are now, just about to fall. I love this time of year, leaves changing color and reminding us that all things change. Change is the constant in life. We have been going through lots of changes in the recent months, but we have some great new team members to introduce you to! La Quiter came on about 2 months ago. She is an amazing addition to our nursing department team and does a great job helping keep things organized! Trish is our new Resident Care Coordinator, and we are thankful she is here with her years of medical experience as an EMT. Jasmine is coming on board as the Activity Director and will be a huge help while Anna is off for a little while. We can’t wait to have her back home soon! I want to make sure to also let you know that we are actively building our dining team and can’t wait to see how our upcoming October Fest looks! More information for upcoming events will be sent to you as the events come together! As always, I look forward to hearing from you. I am always interested in hearing how things are going from you! Our wonderful Sophia, she does Tai Chi with our residents Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Residents love Tai Chi; we always have a fullclass of happy smiley people.Thank you, Sophia, for working with our residents and always showing them something new.
