WHAT IS UPSR ENGLISH BULL’S EYE
PROGRAMMEIt is a combination of techniques to help teachers use the information from marking scheme briefings to teaching the students in class on how to answer the UPSR questions properly. The techniques will also help students to exercise their thinking skills when answering the questions. These techniques focus specifically on UPSR English Paper for SK and SJKC.

TEC 3. – DRILL THE WEAK POINTS 1. STUDENTS MUST READ THE INSTRUCTIONS.
TEACHER ASKS STUDENTS FOR THE ANSWER 1ST.
2. ASK THEM WHY THEY SELECTED THE ANSWER.
3. IF THEY CAN JUSTIFY THEIR ANSWER – GO TO THE NEXT QUESTION.

4. IF THEY CANNOT JUSTIFY THEIR ANSWER – TEACH THEM HOW TO GET TO THE ANSWER. TEACH THEM TO JUSTIFY.
5. STUDENTS MUST LEARN TO JUSTIFY THEIR ANSWERS SO THEY CAN GUESS INTELLIGENTLY.

mistakes)- Read QUESTIONS 1st then read passage- UNDERLINE & CIRCLE ANSWERS- Tell students Question are arranged in the
order of the passage.- Last 2 Qs – usually the overall of the passage- Use Contextual Reading technique – clues give away answers
