How to create a new rate plan

Create a new rate plan

Go to „Configuration“

Select „Rate Plans“

Select „Add“

Enter the main rate plan details

Tips & Tricks: If a similar rate plan is already existing select „Copy Rate Plan“

and type in the name and code of the new rate plan and select „Copy Shell Data Only“

Main Rate Plan Details

Active Period

Add the „Active Periods“ of the rate plan

Active Periods: Timeframe the guests can arrive

Booking Periods: Timeframe the rate can be booked

The button„Add“ is available for the „Booking Periods“ as soon as you select the „Active Periods“

Rates

Select „Actual“ when the rate is not in any dependecies to another rate plan

Use „Calculated“ when the rate plan should be in dependency from another rate plan (e.g. -20% off the Rack rate) At the moment we do not support double derived rates, so the

„Source Rate Plan“ has to be the Rack rate when selecting „Calculated“

Under „Available Channels“ you can select, where you want the rate to be sold

Loading the prices for the rate plans

Prices can be loaded through the R&A Manager

Select the rate plan and click on „Get Dates“

Now select „Edit Rates“

Select „Rates“

If the rate is not beeing calculated from another rate plan, just type in the price. In case it is calculated from a rate plan you can choose between „Percent“ or „Amount“

Display of derived rate

This rate is based on the Flex rate plan and has a discount of 10%

At the moment you can just calculate a rate plan from a „mother rate plan“ (No double derived rates possible)

Summary

Rate plan header is loaded through „Configuration“

Available channels is loaded through „Configuration“

GDS rate plan codes are loaded by hetras

All prices are loaded through the R&A Manager

Restrictions and Policies are loaded through the R&A Manager
